  1. Big unkempt beards freak me out. I will go out of my way not to engage people rocking one. If you are going to have a serious beard going on then the state of it says something about you.
  2. The range is essentially part of the race. You are penalised or rewarded time according to your accuracy scoring.
  3. Ski shooting, it's that thing they always win at the olympics. It's good practice for when the Germans Putin invades.
  4. German tanks, like vintage apple OSes
  5. Wow it's quite a bit more complicated than that.
  6. So awesome fast PCI SSDs are becomming quite affordable. Thinking of getting this model 'Samsung 950 PRO MZ-V5P256BW' http://www.samsung.c...ifications.html It uses the new m.2 slot which my 3 year old Mobo doesn't have. My motherboard states that it has three PCI 3.0 x 16 slots. This an adaptor card that is available for that purpose http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B00LAQS37U (my mobo for reference http://www.msi.com/p...-specification) The adaptor says it allows for a PCI 3.0 x 4 slot to me converted to m.2 and from what I can tell from the picture it looks like you clip the m.2 SSD onto the adaptor card. So PCI 3.0 x 4 is just when the card uses a small ammount of the slot as opposed to x 16 for a GFX that takes up the entire slot ?. Point being it should be fine ?. I can use the spare PCI 3.0x 16 slots (I assume they are there for SLI/Crossfire) for this purpose. The rest of the PCI slots on my mobo are legacy slots, not PCIe x3.
  7. I don't think I've ever been so grateful for the presence of a towel in my life.
  8. This mouse offers 19 programmable buttons: Razer Naga Epic Chroma. That's the one I've got. 19 total 12 on the side. You can't actually get the drivers for it without signing up for spam. That's right you have to create an account and register your product, then they let you download the applet. So yeah, this is my first and last Razer product.
  9. What's the best macro programmable mouse out there. Mine only has 12 additional buttons. Not enough.
  10. No key remapping. On a PC RTS title. Perhaps someone with coding experience could clarify, but that very much seems like something that would take less than a day to do. It poses a more serious question, if they didn't bother with that what other holes are in the multiplayer. What else is missing.
  11. You guys are overthinking it. It's supposed to be a wild wasteland episode. The reason you can't tell is that it's not even remotely funny.
  12. There's a small chance it could be day Z with high production value based on what I could gather, and of course it might be ****, but even Ubisoft can make a good game by accident.
  13. So Deserts of Kharak is out in like 3 days.
  14. I guess this is what getting old is. All the people you feel you have shared the world with even in just a vauge general way die and disappear one after the other.
  15. mr. Takahashi will not be joinging us for the rest of his life.

So Obama should have pretended that the US would have intervened in Ukraine and Syria. What would have happened when the world called his bluff. I'm sure you agree it would never have happened.

A US navy boat has engine trouble and drifts into Iranian warters, rather than invade Iranian territory they decide to let it play out diplomatically. This is not the 70s, there is no reason to suspect the sailors would become hostages. Is there any indication that it was a covert raid of some sort. Not that we would know either way.
  18. Sounds like a JRPG just from the title.

Youtube are getting busy with the DMCA takedowns I see. Feels a bit like crows circiling a corpse but that's the music biz for ya.

7 tracks, and some very long ones still.

Man, I listened to his new album recently and now I realise it's only 4 tracks because he didn't finish.

On the other hand some of the best missions in EW were time sensitive. The bomb disposals and the one where you had to place the transponder on the train. The big alien ship missions got a bit too long I think and could easily encourage you to get sloppy and walk into a bad situation simply because moving and going to overwatch on every turn was too cumbersome. I think terror missions were meant to be time sensitive in that civilians died inside the fog of war every turn but mostly because of the spawn system going after them in a concerted manner was never worth the risk so you were essentially just fighting the aliens and if you happened to walk into a civilian or two to rescue, great. I'd like to see a little of both so you don't have to sacrifice combat effectiveness to complete objectives in every mission. That would be going too far. It all depends on how well the missions are crafted I guess.
  23. It's pretty much what Yahtzee Crowshaw calls the 'every open world game' syndrome. At least it doesn't have grind requirements for opening up new map areas.
  24. It's great until you discover it isn't. So just enjoy the next 20 hrs or so before you do. Technically you will have gotten your money's worth even though most of the main quests are broken and/or over simplified.

All youtube 'content creators' are varying degrees of obnoxious. It's always a bit of a problem sounding credible while making a really good living doing something practically any idiot could do. On balance I think he does a fine job sounding brittish while reviewing games. Don't be so jealous.
