How was it Ros, using your new superpowers for the first time. Awesome rush, or a bit of a letdown ?
-
I must say I am somewhat disapointed at the lack of genuine hazing though, you are all but ruining the experience for Rosbjerg.
-
Execution isen't cheaper though, if you factor in appeals and the extra cost of being a death row inmate, unless you go Texas-style and assembly line the death cases all the way to the chamber, limiting appeals and shortening case time. The justice system in most states though moves at the same speed regardless of percieved levels of 'guilty'. An extention of the whole presumed innocence deal I would assume.

Some of ny best friends,, excetera excetrea.

Congrats on your new position as moderator, paying nothing except fear and loathing from your fellow board mates.

shesh - tough crowd! Rosbjerg make sure to keep a particular eye on kirottu I've been having my eyes on him for years.. Du godeste ...

The very notion of a distinction between and 'artificial' and 'natural' world is ludicrous. Man is part of nature, and so are highrise buildings, landfills and stationcars.

When you are discussing the death penalty, a single case chosen for its specific emotional appeal means nothing whatsoever. Do not depart from the big picture. Excluding war and euthenasia, killing should always, always, be regarded as taboo which once passed carries extreme circumstances for the perpetrators, thats exactly why we can't have society doing it. It breeds disrespect for life, and violence. As for the pedophiles, send them off to a deserted island or something. Murder, however, should not be in the purview of society.

Yeah that place is mucho cool.

It fits a desktop rather poorly in dimentions, but, well, it's from my favorite kung fu movie.

The writing reminded me a little of a comic book or graphic novel, and no, it wasen't overly complicated or hard to follow. I can't say I was disapointed, it was supposed to be adventure, and, it was.

The biggest problem with the bond series is that well, the 70s and 80s are long gone. You can't sell it on kitch, or sophisitcation and you can't sell it on macho. Only realism is left, and Bond was always larger than life, and larger than realism.

NOOoooOOOOoooOOO. Sigh. Well, I guess he has to pay for his yachts somehow. Ohh my god... That looks hilarious. Turning Burmese into spagetti with a voiceover about peace and forgiveness. I have to see this.

I love the Bourne series, the genre is so much better without the silly trim of the Bond series. I don't care what watches, supercars or supermodels are attached, it's about suspense and story.

I just saw the latest Pirates of the caribian installment, unfortunately my glasses broke in the process, which was a major drag as I couldn't see anything much after that. Not bad though.

Well obviously they vary their programming in accordance with local demographics, discovery europe has all those exciting 'lets watch some guys put a car together for 45 minuites' shows.
-
No it's not appropriate to sentence anyone to death, regardless of whether you think they deserve it or not. It's easy ebough to find one of these monsters to hold up as an example, the trouble is that allongside these monsters which everyone believes deserv death there are infinite shades of gray, and unquestionably the odd innocent man.

I don't know, whatever they do in Iraq it seems doomed to failure. They have been talking about 'improving security' so all the other rebuilding plans could get under way for eons. The thing is, security isen't going to be improved on anything other than a temporary basis by any measure that the US can produce. There are forces in Iraq who are positively thrilled to have americans there to shoot at, in addition to the mounting sectarian violence. More time no longer brings any promise of resolution. Although, there are areas where the occupation have brought progress and stability, like the Kurdish controlled region for instance.

I remember when the discovery channel was nothing but programs about ww2 tanks and informecials. Good times. Now it's only about outdoorsy types eating ants and drinking their own urine, and stupid bike and car building shows.

Yes, but you fought an untested red army straigth out of the Stalin purges that didn't know its head from its ass, and you had tactical, defensive and territorial advantages. Denmark is flat as a pancake and had nothing at all that would stand up against German panzer.

Actrually I think the vast majority of games would benifit from the Sand version as opposed to the glazed over version. Dood. the pathfinding sucks, the camera angles are a joke, the avatars are butt ugly - to a man ! - the engine is less efficient than a seamstress with parkinson's. ...And you don't think that QA haven't said all those things for years about any number of games? If pathfinding sucks for you on the first run, how do you think it sucks for someone who must run through the same areas several times? You think the avatar is ugly on your run? What if you had a run of some months watching the same hated avatar? I don't think Hades would survive well at a job if he were completely obnoxious about the bugs. On the other hand, I don't think he would be. He'd find the line and dance on it, maybe, but he's too smart to get himself fired almost immediately as insubordinate. Also, I think it's ridiculous to make such observations about QA people in general. Me? I'm an intruder here, so you can say what you want about me and I won't much care. I'll just keep posting my experiences. However, you're dead DEAD wrong about the QA people here DO rail about some of these things and go out of their way to find every possible thing they can to log into bug reports. Maybe I'm the glazed over version to Hades' blast them with sand and be formally reprimanded on the first day style, but the other folks here do their jobs very well. With that all said, I've logged everything from suggestions regarding punctuation to potentially game crashing bugs. Why? Because it's my job. I'm going to find every single possible thing to log as a bug because that's what I'm supposed to do. Writing nasty email and making rude comments would only serve to get me fired and THAT would clearly end any positive influence I could possibly have. Just to clarify, I wasen't talking about you specifically. I have seen many games where it seemed like the developers had just trudged on and ignored the most obvious. How can you go through the trouble of making an entire game and then having a totally screwy viewport ?. I surely don

"Mkreku's just mad 'cause the Swedes wussed out of WW2." The smart thing to do all things considered. Or if you had no choice you could just put up a token defence and profit off the Germans, like we did. Small countries can't afford heroism, they adapt or get annihilated. Just look at Poland, the place was one big crater after the war.
