I generally hate having to watch 30-45 minute shows where you know if anything interesting is going to happen it's going to be a cliffhanger at the end. Give me an English detective series instead, one where the actors have time to breathe and the plot time to build.

It's because of what it takes to get into office, they are sort of conditioned to grant special favors from the beginning.
