The Christmas Thread
Had to pay a bloody fortune for a locksmith to come on Christmas Eve 02:00 at night, although the alternative would unquestionably been hypothermia and death. My new jeans were the culprit, the stitching in the back pocket had come undone leaving a hole for my keys to escape through.

How far ID Software have fallen from the glory days of Hitman. I used to be proud that my city had produced them.

Could we not talk about this until it comes out on PC please.

Suicide / Euthanasia
Throwing yourself off a building is completely painless, provided it's tall enough. You wouldn't want to cut corners and use an overpass. It's a bloody mess to clean up though. I support the right of someone in serious pain decide for themselves when they have had enough, but, having a doctor or family member do it for you, surely that's problematic because of the psychology of the situation. It would have to be something you handled yourself.

Is common sense starting to prevail in America regarding the death penalty?
We could use them to colonize Mars, sort of like what the Brits did with Australia.

Why the need for the virtual money. Tax evation ?. I remember I had to buy some for Dragon Age to unlock a DLC, ended up having 50 to spare which I will never be able to use since I'm on a PC. It seems completely pointless.

Don't ask Don't tell anyone about the repeal
It would be harsher on account of her frail feminine sensibilities.

What you did today
I watched 3 episodes of Deadliest Warrior back to back. It's ****ing hilarious. I love the announcer, he's so into it.

The day irony died
She could have done him a favor and said 'no' with no room for interpretation though. Letting someone who is obsessed and in love just run with it, it's never pretty.

I'm sure there were lots of people who had similar arguments about letting blacks into the military. The organization will adapt and be no worse off for it.

Logically most rape cases would consist of the conflicting testimony of two people, so I don't find it strange that so many women chose to let it go unreported. Justice might not be their first priority when held up against the stresses of an investigation and trial.

Blizzard's leaked product slate
WoW the movie, directed by Uwe boll and starring Jason Statham driving a mount really fast and delivering one liners and knuckle sandwiches.

"Prohibition has failed"
Life is choices, in my mind drugs that are particularly dangerous such as PCP and Chrystal Meth should still be illegal, everything else that can be taken in moderation without affecting your health should be legal. Alcohol and Cigarettes became allowed more by historical accident than design anyway.

Paranoid much? Instead of moaning about other people's anti-Americanism, I'd instead be worried of how your country is perceived by foreigners. Absolutely. Racism has nothing to do with it. Stop being such a baby, a healthy dose of skepticism is in order towards the worlds only remaining superpower. When it comes to national imperatives and foreign policy we don't have to all get along. In fact we are guaranteed not to. Wikileaks might well be irresponsible, but they would cease to have a point if they held anything back, and it's still the 'little man' vs the system. Get your priorities straight, fight the power and all that.

What you did today
Pretending not to have noticed the text from my boss who needs someone to cover for two people who called in sick today, and I've finally got the winter sniffles.

Well this is awkward. Maybe Crimson needs to take a break from the game, I'm not really in a position to know, there's no need to be a **** about it though.

Underrated games you like?
Yes, but you should never miss a chance to mention Homeworld, especially now when Relic is stuck doing the same boring space marine stuff in perpetuity.
-
Underrated games you like?
I should mention my favorite RTS game of all time, Homeworld.

Underrated games you like?
So AP is 'good' good ? Maybe I should cave in and get it.

Did they fix where the reload animation would be interrupted by the running cycle and you would moonwalk instead of reloading, it seemed to affect repeater rifles worst and never single shot guns.

I used to solo most of the time simply because I was tired of my companions playing the game for me, so I can't say I'm sad about that.

Oh great, the big terrorism craze finally hits sweden
Well. From what we read around here, he was a quite "normal" guy until he, after visiting Britain, became "increasingly radical and angry". Maybe he was known there for these tendencies, but I think very few, if any, in Sweden knew of the extent of his radicalization. Also, I very much doubt that he had training with explosives, from what I've read... I could have made a better bomb myself, from the descriptions of those. "After visiting Britain" Maybe he went to the shoe and underwear bomber training academy. Not a lot pf people get to utilize their full satisfaction or money back guarantee.

Your game collection
I really should have hung on to my Amiga + games. In another 10 years those are going to be worth serious $ Also I'm a slob, I don't have much in the way of old games left, CDs live a hard life at my place, sooner or later they all end up as coasters.

What you did today
You feel fine after a "julefrokost"? .. obviously you didn't drink enough snaps or had enough casual sex with co-workers in the copy room. This is the only explanation. Some of the girls actually lamented the lack of a copier on the premises, but I guess it's easy enough to be brave when such antics weren't possible.
