  1. This of course is the original plate the others were cast from, just FYI

Looks like classic GFX driver issues to me.

The Tron legacy soundtrack, everything is intense 'batman' violins, but it's kinda cool. You can still hear the late 80s electro influence.
  4. His family was killed by orks/nobles and he must avenge them, but first you must gain enough influence with him by patiently listening to his entire family history while offering comforting remarks, even if you would rather he didn't, he will eventually tell you about his one gay experience with the stable boy Silas when he was just a young lord of 17.
  5. I just think it looks creepy, but not in a pedo sort of way.
  6. The one in the middle maybe, the others, meh. Someone failed at being a mom that day.
  7. Dead rising 2 looks like fun, anyone played it ?
  8. Must be like what living in North Korea is like, everyone informing on everyone and no one actually convinced by the ideology anymore.

Also I got Clear Sky on a previous STEAM sale, these last deals were publisher specific. Not that interesting since there are bound to be a couple of stinkers in a 5 game deal.

They are all more or less the same game, although I prefer CoP or Clear Sky for the improvements in weapons and trading.

How about Mafia 2. It's a la Vice City, but is it any good ?
  12. I used to include Cameron in that group. He can do all the Titanics he wants and I'm not going to care but a bad sci fi movie, major disappointment.

All the hitman games for 7,47

Also, nobody else get asscreed 2. Not because of the DRM but because it gets really boring after a while. everything is the same 4 core gameplay mechanics. There is no interaction with npcs at all other than pressing a button and then sitting back for another unscipable cutscene. Yay. The end is just.... mindbogglingly retarded. Om the plus side, the jumping puzzles, if you like that sort of thing, and the combat and overall polish and production value. So basically they learned nothing from the disaster that is Asscreed 1, other than making the unskipables a lot shorter.

DO NOT. His recommendations are usually terrible, anyway. Farcry 2 is not bad. Nice combat and vehicle sections, near death animations, sneaking around in the jungle. It feels very unfinished though. Good for a single playthrough.
  16. For the longest time I was convinced there was some kind of Tyler Durden mind **** going on. Decent movie, I didn't know Portman could act on account of Star Wars. We are not just talking about movies with CGI sequences in them, that would rule out anything with effects, but movies where the actors aren't the biggest attraction.
  17. Appealing to the largest possible audience is a sure way to achieve mediocrity. I like Pirats DMC and LoTR 1 a lot though, call it the exception that proves the rule.
  18. Avatar was still a crap movie though.
  19. wall-e or however you spell it was good, but then pixar aren't trying to ape human actors, they are using the tech for something it's better suited for. a lot if cgi animated films do wind up looking generic though. they are too perfect, nothing looks like that other than a cgi film
  20. Who had that quest anyway, I was never able to unload all that radio junk.
  21. 99% of all fully CGI movies are crap. Final fantasy, Beowulf, etc. They look really pretty and cost a lot of money to make, but that alone was never enough.

If I remember correctly you can pan with the keyboard, but only very little so it doesn't make it a workable RTS cam. The camera issue plagued all the ad ons as well. Subsequent patches have made additions to the camera options, but I'm guessing you already have the latest version.

That should be HUD I think, GUI is like the windows in windows.

NWN 2 doesn't have any exploration, the load times for the interiors are so bad you wouldn't want it anyway. It's ok though, the main quest line is pretty decent. You get used to the klunky camera eventually, be sure and check the options though. There are lots and lots of them for the camera and GUI in an attempt to get it into a tolerable state.
  25. That's fine, as long as you call it an activity and not a sport. Boxing, footie, even snooker - all manly exploits where you can actually care about the outcome.
