  1. They completely ruined it by making it a squad based combat game with an RTS viewport. I understand that there are people out there who like that sort of thing, there are people who love blue cheese, but recent events would suggest that they are not a majority.
  2. Haven't liked any of the latest warhammer games. Maybe they will go more traditional out of desparation. Can't hurt anyway.
  3. It's not far from just admiting eschelon and asking it be officially allowed to spy on everyone.
  4. Never got past the first boss figth. I think you were supposed to shoot his arms and legs off or something. Gave up after about 50 reloads.
  5. I heard all those amazing acolades and when i fired it up i was almost immediately presented with some sort of abhorrent minigame. Never made it past that.

    Pretty lame so far.
  7. I wouldn't buy any of those. I know for a fact that Syndicate is boring, the rest is just speculation. Risen 2 comming soon. Looks like a pirates of the caribean knockoff. Muskets and sabers.
  8. Fell asleep, dreamt I was at a reception celebrating the end of WW2. Goebbels and Goering were there, in back and white filmgrain as you remember them from the clips. Everything else in color, except the potato mash. There was a guy who came up to the front desk and kept nagging them for heroine, but he wasn't allowed because his previous dose had'nt run out. I stole rather a lot of coins and a little antique keyring with a swastika on it from the lost and found drawer. The potato mash was tasteless, but everything else was delicious.
  9. How about daydreaming that you played the lottery, that's free. Or playing something that turns into a game of skills if you do it enough times. Like blackjack or poker.
  10. Why make a fisticufs game in FPP
  11. I don't think people understand just how miniscule the chance of winning really is.
  12. because playtesters aren't asked if a particular sequence just plain sucks. It's not on their to do list.
  13. Can't edit after I posted the second time it seems.
  14. Attempting spoiler funtion but it's not working right now.
  15. I think they could have made it work if they had laid their cards bare in the middle and not attempted to surprise the player with the plot. They are chiefly up against the Matrix with an architect type character at the end responsible for the workings of the system , and in a wider sense both popular and less known Sci Fi culture and canno, all of which has already been analysed and discussed at length. Being an 'RPG' they are in my mind also up against the ending of DX1 and DXHR, an AI at the center of the discussion and a prominent 'father figure' of synthetic life (Bladerunner, I Robot, BSG, and many others). They should have acknowedged this legacy and written an intelligent take on the issues involved. It need not have entailed a dozen different endings, but it really needed good dialouge, not just a door '1, 2, or 3' solution. They could have had a strong card like Martin Sheen at the very end arguing out his position alongside the player for instance.
  16. ohh... yeah. nevermind
  17. what the hell is a TPS
  18. It's 50/50. Either you win or you don't.
  19. Striking a ballance between being percieved as opressive and being under siege.
  20. Looks kinda meh. Hope I'm wrong.
  21. ^^ I use to be him. how did I get so old all of a sudden. I remember back when we had a better class of anti Americans.
  22. You need both involved characters to be loyal from Me2, you have to have done a previous mission before another, and you need a high paragon/renegade score. You don't get the resolution you wanted without it, but you might not get it regardless. (say if you didn't have loyalty) So, yes you do need those points to have the option of chosing the conclusion you wanted.
  23. sometimes it's enough to be radical. making sense comes second.
  24. Not true, you need high scores to resolve the Quarian wars the way you wanted for instance.
