Apple, here we go again, M1 chip
I agree with Zoraptor, this is more of a make more money by paying less to other manufacturers then it's about competing with other companies. I mean for them to want to compete would mean they would have to support other OS and I don't see apple doing that.

Apple, here we go again, M1 chip
Faster, stronger, harder and more hipster than ever. Makes sense for them to invest in their own chip across all devices, but I really want to see if the numbers stand up. Will also be interesting to see their desktop variant chip.

Nvidia RTX Series
The Asus 3070 strix is 895 euros... But what's funny is that the gray market prices are mostly the same as the store prices... I'm hopping that these are just the current prices as the demand is high, but in my experience our retailers never lower the prices even for 2 gen old tech.

MSI 3090 is priced 2050 euros in my country...The cheapest 3070 is 765 euros... 😂

What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
When you have 2 or more monitors and want to mouse over (alt-tab) to another monitor the game always minimizes, even when you put it to the windowed-fullscreen mode.

What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
Finished Subnautica. Great game, still buggy even after all this time. Really like this concept of games. Can't wait for Breathedge to be finised, as it's turning out to be a much tighter and less buggy of a game (I encountered zero bugs). I'm half way through Pathfinder Kingmaker (Playing a Paladin) and so far I agree with Zoraptor on most points. The biggest letdown in the game for me, compared to the Infinity Engine games, is the audio. Especially the background audio, which is really lacking. It would have done so much to make the world feel alive and it feels like they didn't even make an effort. The rest of the audio experience is not much better when comparing to IE games. I would have also liked to see the kingdom events being reflected in the world, but outside major quest, the environment is pretty static. Gameplay is pretty much on par with the IE games for better and worse. The worst bug I got so far is the game not saving, but I found a workaround for that. I think this is the best Baldur's Gate successor we got so far. edit: oh, yeah not being able to alt-tab the game in 2020, wtf.

They tried that with Anthem, I don't think they will be given any more leeway.

I don't know what category I fall under, but I could care less about how it turns out. I haven't played any of the Witcher games past the first one (and didn't finish that one), so I really have no expectations.

There are Half Life 3 level of expectations from this game right now, they must be feeling the pressure.

This is where I like the saying from Marques Brownlee, "buy the product for what it offers, not for what it promises to offer in the future," or something close to that.

The TV and Streaming thread Series 3
I have a very good TV show to recommend, Ted Lasso. It's about an American football manager/coach coming to England for a football (soccer) manager/coach job. Give it a go.

Pretty much the Beamdog story, with the original art assets being "lost".

Politics 20/20
Corruption is the same just better hidden even legalized, the freedoms are on the surface and for all the "differences" between the two parties the ship still gets steered in the same direction: perpetual war, the rich get richer the poor get poorer and middle class keeps getting worse off. Just a matter of time before the US gets full blown Corporatocratic.
