  1. Sicario, could almost pass for a documentary for how the US operates in the war on drugs.
  2. So after a little back and forward between the service guys for the monitor, and then with LG's representatives in Serbia and then LG Hungary, I got an approval for a replacement. I should be getting it by the end of the week. I only wonder if I should have maybe replaced it for a 34UM95C instead for the one I already had (34UM95). The difference between the 2 is that the C variant is maybe a newer revision, but it's also a stripped down version of the non C variant, lacks 2 Thunderbolt ports and possibly the dual source capability (which could possibly mean it has one controller and that would probably mean no vertical tearing I have been having). The funny thing is the C variant is a 100 euros more expensive here, but it's 100 euros/dollars cheaper everywhere else I looked...
  3. Should have ****ing stayed out of that war, especially considering how many people we lost in WW1...
  4. I though Evangelion continued with the Rebuild.
  5. I think they were playing on how iconic Han's blaster is.
  6. There wasn't any suspense for me either, I pretty much guessed the key points of the movie before they happened. That was the price they payed to be able to cater to the original trilogy crowd, lets just hope the sequels move on.
  7. He is one of my favorite new actors, especially in Warrior.
  8. I'll say it again, PS:T sucks as a game and it would have only benefited from being done like an interactive visual novel.
  9. Saw the movie yesterday, it was ok. I mean I was never a diehard fan of the Star Wars franchise, but I did really like it. As far as the movie goes it was much more close to the original trilogy then the prequels, but that made the plot very predictable. All in all a good flick, I would say I got as much fun out of it as from any of the SW movies, including the prequels.
  10. I'm doing it more for the sake of importing decisions as such, as far as the story goes, I'll probably get around to reading the books but I do know the highlights of the main story.
  11. Playing Witcher in hopes that I can finish it 100% so I can move on to the second one and then ultimately to the third one.
  12. Monitor packed and ready to be shipped to service tomorrow. Back to 16:10 (1650:1050), so strange and yellow, lol. Hope they won't take a month to fix it if they do indeed decide that it falls under warranty...
  13. The question to ask is not what it would have been like had Westwood not existed, but what it would have been like if they hadn't sold themselves to EA. Would they have survived and still made RTS games today? There is a serious lack of RTS game today, I know the market was oversaturated at one point, but I think it's high time it made a return.
  14. Watched Donnie Darko great movie, although

  16. Could have been worse, could have had time travel.
  17. Yup, plus it's great that they continued the movie plot and didn't do a reboot in TV format.
  18. Is anyone watching the Limitless TV show? It's a buddy-cop show, but I found it to have an interesting spin on it, it's currently the only thing I'm watching that's not animated.
  19. Noticed a white dot on my monitor today... Guessing it's stuck pixels... It will not show on a black picture, but on any other color (most noticeably white) it will show as a bright spot. Going to turn in it for service, but I got no clue if they will fix it. There is a stupid policy about the number of dead/stuck pixels allowed on the panel. Although I think it's definitely more then one as the resolution is 3440x1440 and I gather that the pixels are much smaller then the dot I'm seeing. edit: I got a magnifying glass and it looks like all the pixels are changing color. Seems the issue is with the brightness of said pixels.
  20. Hahahahahaha, good joke man. :D More then likely is that he will need to disassemble it completely (remove the motherboard) to be able to remove to fan.
  21. PoE is terribly a optimized game so that could be why it's taxing your system that much, but anyways it's not at fault for your issues. Either your fan failed, or your heatsink is blocked (by dust most likely). As you said that you can hear you fan, it's probably the heatsink that is blocked and the fan can't get enough air through it.
