  1. And where exactly is the ironic part?
  2. That's untrue, you've been ill. You've even said so in these threads. YouRE WEaK. WwwWWeeEEEaaAaaaKkKKKkkkkK!!!!!!111111!11! I had food poisoning, two times, last time it was spring last year but there is nothing you can do when you flood your body with bacterial toxins. Those were just three days total though.
  3. My family members aren't mutants and luck doesn't exist, especially luck that lasts for over 9 years, I'm simply making the right lifestyle choices, thats all. So, and now I'm off sipping some orange juice and exercise like a madman. Those things are fun and fun improves my health!
  4. I haven't been ill in nine and a half years so I guess I must be doing something right.
  5. I'd never suggest commercial fruit juices. Buy some quality oranges and make your own.
  6. Keep your immune system strong and its morale high, this will take care of most threats, it deals with even worse stuff on a daily basis. Next time you're watching a funny sitcom laughing your butt off while drinking your beer remember your stalwart killer T-cells which never take a day off or relax. They'll be fighting on countless front lines inside your body launching one suicide attack after another against cancer cells and other monstrosities right now. Get off your butt, give the fallen heroes a silent salute and then support your troops with fresh orange juice.
  7. Bodybuilders forgetting how to count and arguing about how many days are in the week. Including tons of roid-rage fueled posts. I almost pissed myself laughing.
  8. Meningitis is serious stuff, fortunately you recognized the signs soon enough. What does the immediate treatment look like?
  9. Good. I know that kind of thinking seems funny and counter-productive at first, but people die left and right totally unexpectedly in accidents or develop mortal illnesses out of the blue. My neighbor who was a healthy happy relaxed guy with big plans for the future just got diagnosed with the worst form of leukemia, just like that. A week before he got his first chemotherapy he was walking his dog and we had good laughs and beer at my porch. Frightening.
  10. But what if there won't be a next year? DU-DUN-DUUUUN!
  11. Rowing can be done with a simple barbell, no need for expensive machines that need a lot of free space. You just have to split it into two parts:Bent over barbell rows and front squats. I love those two exercises, performed correctly they build serious mid-back and core strength. (with low reps and high weights)
  12. 8 hours of TV per day, his brain must be already melting out his ears, I can't even watch 8 minutes without feeling my IQ dropping as rapidly as a shot airliner loses altitude. Not to mention I'd feel sooo hangoverish all the time. Its really none of my business but could it be that your husband is depressed? Sounds like it to me. Hey f*** you, its my job to suggest lifting! Seriously though, he is right. A good way to get your husband to start lifting or doing sports is slightly denting his ego, make subtle suggestion that he would be more of a man if he had some level of athletic skills. That kind of subtle criticism correctly applied works 9 our of 10 times. Doesn't matter if you don't think that way, just tell him for the sake of his health.
  13. The worst thing about those terrorists is you can only kill them once.
  14. Thanks. I actually bought the silver scope for a stainless steel rifle but I had to scrap that plan after I got the scope. Putting a silver scope on a blued rifle is strange but I'm happy how it turned out. I call it the silverback. There is only one kind of strength: not strong enough. Thats 34.5kg / 76lbs dumbbell which I use for standing one armed shoulder presses, 8 repetitions 3-4 stints.
  15. She is extremely beautiful, though the other pics are NSFW so this one has to suffice.
  16. Tried out my new rifle and sighted in the scope, found out that the rifle is really accurate. My first 3 shot group ever with this rifle was almost hole-in-hole at 50 meters and thats just with a bipod, no rear stock support and without trying hard. The next 5 shot group after correcting elevation wasn't bad either considering we have a storm here right now, 130km/h wind gusts which does affect accuracy more than most people would imagine. Oh and I was shooting really cheap ammo. (those are 5mm holes, the black dot is about thumb-sized) Can't wait to find out what it can do with match grade ammo, rested on sandbags with a fully concentrated shooter at 100. Unless you have to care about a really really ill cat like I had to for several years, 24/7. After that nothing can shock me anymore.
  17. I've been told that I have legs growing out of my shoulders. I'd rather build me one with Lego.
  18. Got me a new toy, CZ452 with match barrel. Shoots the 22lr, great target practice round and its quiet, with subsonic ammunition its is barely louder than clapping your hands really hard. Stock is very beautiful walnut.
  19. Take the test http://dogtime.com/quiz/dog-breed-selector What a surprise, according to the tests the Doberman Pinscher would be an ideal match.
  20. Because that footage is a gold mine for those news outlets. Its shocking and people want to see shocking stuff. Many people watching = $$$. It reminds me of the excellent movie ''Nightcrawler''.
  21. Been thinking about getting a dog, since my cat died I really miss animal companionship and I'm pretty sure I could offer a dog an excellent life. Maybe a Doberman breed, I really like their character and appearance.
  22. True, they use bastardized lifting exercises, but also tire flips, medicine ball throwing and a bunch of wrong pull up variants because of that ''functional'' strength. I'm not a fan of cross fit either, they use awful form and jerking which is known to cause permanent joint damage over time.
  23. That kind of trolling does not contribute to the discussion.
