My favorite song of all the time, love the stop'n go's and the guitar especially at the end: And....

With my current exercise schedule each muscle group gets 3-4 days of rest before it is used again, definitely enough time to regenerate even the large groups like thighs and pecs. I only do one day cardio / week though, I tried doing cardio more often (cycling) but this resulted in my leg muscles getting super-hard and swollen, even 4 days after leg-day. Though my cycling routes are pretty tough, the terrain here is extremely hilly. I'm not too sure if cardio every single day would be possible, I imagine I'd get mineral deficiencies all over the place because I cant make up for the loss every day.

I used to have a rest day, but I left it out a couple of times and realized that I don't really need it. After a couple of years of regular exercising your body gets so used to the hard work that your need to rest fades away.

Well, according to the old testament David killed Goliath (probably just a very tall soldier) with one shot from his sling, it penetrated his forehead and killed him instantly. At medium ranges a sling could definitely be a plausible weapon.

Roger that! The character in my fighter playthrough is definitely going to wield a good oldschool halberd like this one.

Hmm, I just read that zinc is one of the components that the body needs to create testosterone, since I'm lifting weights 1.5 hours / day 7 days a week which increases production of testosterone quite significantly there might indeed be a zinc deficit. I don't know if it works that way, but I'm definitely going to ask for a blood screen.

My nose is free, and it has been that way since the problem started last year during early winter. But I'm sure the doc can help. Today is leg day, and I'm doing barbell lunges, I can highly recommend them to those who have sensitive joints because they can be done with very little weight without losing too much training effect. Its all about the stretching! I squat with 330+ lbs but I only need 120 lbs for barbell lunges, and boy, they're exhausting! Its also one of the few exercises that train your musculus biceps femoris.

Now that you mention it, my sense of smell is pretty dull too. I hope its just a minor stress related problem or something like that, not a symptom of something bigger, nastier.

I found out that I'm slowly losing my sense of taste, and I have no idea why, everything I eat tastes like cardboard, hot cardboard, cold cardboard, squishy cardboard and I get sick and tired every time I eat something. This started half a year ago, but now I finally have to admit that there is something wrong with me. Dinner I cooked today was beef with baked potatoes and zucchini slices, and there was hardly any flavor at all, I could eat a pile of dog poo and it would taste the same. Guess I need to see a doctor....

Axillary artery unprotected? Me no likey! @ Elerond: That black plate armor is awesome, looks like its made of plates of black chitin which have been salvaged from a giant beetle corpse.

Yeah, it was made in 81', I still remember watching the movie in three parts when I was 7 years old but the film has aged incredibly well, like not at all.

Just watched a German movie called ''Das Boot'', Directed by Wolfgang Peterson. Already 33 years old its still one of the best and most realistic films that have ever been made. Its about a German submarine hunting British ships at the very end of the 2nd world war, its about the epic struggle of hunting and being hunted. The great thing about this movie is you can have no freaking clue about submarines, don't care about the second world war and I can still guarantee that you'll like this film because its just so well made and so extremely thrilling. Hell, I don't care about submarines at all but I think this move is magnificent, its NOTHING like the usual one dimensional bland world war hero movies. A must-see if you care about good films. Got an 8.4 on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082096/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 I recommend the blu-ray directors cut, very good quality and cheap too. Here is the blu-ray trailer:

Oh, I forgot to mention, you never guess where this artwork was hanging! In a *drum roll* underground parking garage! The poor artist... I was just walking through the exit when I found that mosaic hanging on a wall there and I was like DAFUQ is this doing HERE?

My condolences. I too had a family member suffer from a terminal disease for 10 years (heart), watching someone slowly die and fade is horrible and I too didn't feel sad the moment she died. That was no life anymore, just suffering that had finally stopped. Try to remember all the great moments you had with her and forget the bad ones, don't let misery and suffering be your last memory of a person.

And the eye witnesses were standing around watching a person getting cut to pieces right in front of them because they couldn't do anything. Awesome. But thats what happens in a society where responsible citizen aren't allowed to carry weapons to defend themselves or others that are being attacked.

I dug all the plant beds myself with just a shovel and a pick, I don't like using motorized gardening tools. It indeed was really hard work but being a weight training fanatic helped a lot, digging feels like doing barbell rows, preacher biceps curls, shrugs and deadlifts at once. *edit* Forgot to mention black currants and some rhubarb, I'm growing those as well.

BIG artwork of Salzburg - one of my countries most famous cities- made entirely of little pieces of tiles, 1553. The castle called ''Feste Hohensalzburg'' (Stronghold high-Salzburg) on the hill still exists and is now a huge museum. The Stronghold now (not my picture)

My sacred garden is 2000+m² big and this year I'm using it to its full capacity: Zucchini, eggplants, physalis, tomatoes, a ton of potatoes, comfrey, salad, radish, celery, strawberries, wild strawberries, several hedges of raspberries, cape gooseberries, blueberries, plums, apples, normal gooseberries, cherries, a couple of hedges of blackberries, carrots, chili (mild) and peaches. But my specialty is the good old and sadly almost forgotten parsnip, parsnip plants are amazing, parsnips are not only tasty they are also completely resistant to pest bugs, absolutely frost resistant - and now the coolest thing: harvest time for parsnips is autumn and WINTER! You can dig them out of the snow and frozen ground and eat them. Tough bastards!

I just hauled all my 70+ seedlings and young plants from my garden into the garage, its going to be freezing the next few days. FU, bad weather!!
