Messier-31 replied to Messier-31's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@Boeroer, now that druid is pretty amazing. *** Now, regarding the possible stretch goal, we at DCRF wonder what could it be? $3.2 million? $3.4 million? Or more like $3.5 million? You know, "uh we at Obsidian need about tree-fitty."

Now, get rid of crafting this time around!
Messier-31 replied to TMZuk's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Seriously, this "crafting" that we have in PoE in the only thing similar to crafting in other games that I actually tried and sorta enjoyed. I never do these tedious tasks in other games, Skyrim is no exception. Shun it, shun, shuuuunnnnaaaaaa.

So this comes from the latest Q&A session: https://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/5ueus0/pillars_of_eternity_ii_deadfire_qa_stream_3/?st=iz8l42og&sh=9348345f MAKE HASTE, BRAVE SIR DWARF, MAKE HASTE! guessing of the 6th party...
Messier-31 replied to Archaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The wiki is wrong, official interviews/info dumps on various sites state she is an eothas worshiper. As I recall Gaun is just an aspect of Eothas, like the Pallid Knight is just an aspect of Berath. Also pretty sure she is savannah folk, not meadow. Look at the skin tone/hair color, not to mention the name, also didn't they flat state that when she was announced? Either way I find the funniest part is that Eder and Xoti apparently don't get along. Makes me think she will probably be a little on the zealot side of things. The 2nd fig update specifically says she's meadow folk/savannah folk.

Messier-31 replied to Archaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Wow, I'd like to see a cRPG with those two in a party. Actually she's both meadow and savannah... and she's got a farmer background http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Xoti

Stretch goal discussion!
Messier-31 replied to TheisEjsing's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)So... he just reached the second island? Seems like this is going to be a very short voyage... That's exactly what I though. But basically it goes like this: First was the Island with the Balefire Beacon, established by default at the beginning of the Fulvano's Voyage campaing The first goal was Dunnage, which for some reason is on the same Island as the Balefire Beacon The second goal is the Drowned Barrows Island So yeah, second Island, but third thing overall. Why they put Dunnage on the same spot as the Beacon? Guess we will have to find out on our own.

#Deadfire Q&A Twitch Stream with Josh Sawyer and Carrie Patel
Query: Is there going to be a written transcript of the Q&A of this? I think that there were such things for the 1st and 2nd sessions. Would prefer to read it, than watch it. Such conditions have I.

Horrible audio stutter
Hello, I have KOTOR2 from GOG. It was going well, but sometimes the audio stutters a lot and it is helluva annoying to play. Restarting the game usually helps, but since meeting with Vrook on Dantooine this stutter does not go away, no matter how many times I restart the game. I also have the latest version of restored content mod installed. Is there some way to fix the audio problem? Cheers.

What ending did you choose?
As I'm not going to make a next run soon (and even if I will I won't side with Woedica), so I checked the wiki and MEH happens. But probably the impact will be more visible in Deadfire. Hopefully. 1st time I picked Wael 2nd time I picked Galawain

The Dwarven Companion Recovery Front
Messier-31 replied to Messier-31's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This is the Dwarven Companion Recovery Front. We received a Sending spell from our allies, and have a special announcement to make: „Greetings. I am FERELLION, and I am the Prime Minister of All the Elves (Everywhere). We are super and we are cool. It has come to my attention that there probably won’t be a dwarven companion in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. This is outrageous. Dwarves have always been a part of an elven/dwarven tandem in a fantasy setting and this thing here is no different. We need the dwarven people just as they need us. Be it only to ridicule them and make fun of their strange ways, or befriend them and hunt some dragons together. Take our good elf-buddy ALOTH, he’s super cool. As you may know he has a funny condition. Imagine the banter between the two characters. And when ISELMYR kicks in, The Dwarf would surely had something sweet to say, amirite? So yeah. I would also like to take this moment and thank the Dwarven Companion Recovery Front for their passion. We, the super cool elves, the DCRF, and all the peoples of multiple settings, stand together in this hour of need, for the cause is just. And super. And cool.” There you have it, folks. The elves have spoken. More and more are joining and willing to fight for the cause. On a more serious note, however, long time ago there was a huge update regarding the first part of the game (link: https://eternity.obsidian.net/eternity/news/update-41-dandd-dwarves-and-doors) and dwarves were something that was considered important back then. Our point is, if the developers really wanted to have them in the game, why would they deny us the possibility to have a companion this time around? Sagani was okay, but there is still much more to be done. Feargus saying that there is quite a lobby of anti-dwarf-companion developers in their midst is worrying, given the aforementioned update. We have big trust/confidence in OBSIDIAN, they know how to make a game right. Yet we still hope that either there will be a dwarven companion in the base game, or one added later in an expansion. Let more people know what needs to be done! Spread the bitter alesong and fight for the cause, because whaaaa? Stay tuned for more updates. PS. @L4wlight, mate! Love the hashtag! Tell them all about The Front, tell them that we are legion, and they should expect us. Don't be too anonymous about it, though. Cheers
