  1. No in all obsidian games characters are genderless from psychical pont of view. Women and Men act the same and even in model the only difrence is that the woman have ****, nothing more ... About races .. mayby. 2 addictional responses for ech race thru entire game mostly like "aaa... you are Drow.. but were not is uterdark ! Next invasion !" or "oww.. you are a dwarf, give me some Ale you drunkard !"

We don't.His work on PoE is done,last I read and he didn't apply to get re-hired full time(Carrie Pattel applied for that positon instead).Same with Torment.Those who keep track of all these info probably have the links. aaaa... So now i no why there are no possible romance writhers ... then sorry don't make romace obsidian pleease .... ! At least i will not see Elanee type o sh.. romance (with mayby 4 extra lines hah)... No it's a part of role play, if im creating a character that in my opinion whoud like to romance somebody, then not adding it is the same like forceind you romance someone even if your character in your opinion whoud never do so (for example orcish assasin that likes to kill and not talk with anyone). So this is almost like saying ... neh .. wizards are lame cut them down ! or Warrior are stupid who need them ?!
  3. Let me help you there. Pillars of Eternity is a CRPG. Dragon Age: Inquisition is a Bioware Game. Big difference. No Pillars of Eternity is Crpg that was backed by kickstarter. (and have poor founding) Dragon Age 3 is Action-Rpg (hack and slach)(with by the way is more popular this times) that have waaaay more founding There isn't an issu if it is Biowere or Obsidian becouse both companies made wary good games, and some poorly desined ones to. Only Video-gaming Dinosaur can't see that.
  4. Im a little disapoited but something disturbes me more .... 1. We have George Ziets, who worked in NWN2 mask and hepled create romance with Safiya (from what i know) so i "buy" idea about poor obsidan writhers that don't know how to halnde at least "acceptable" romance story. 2. We have time for Diablo 1 type of the dungeon but no time for few extra tekst lines ... 3. They whant to establish new brand "Pillars of Eternity" in this year, but in this year also goes Dragon Age 3 fully AA+ game. Most people like romances so propably they will turn to this game. (isn't it hitting your own foot ?) 4. Obsidian promised well desined characters, and if i recall right, most people are is some form of relationships. Cutting it down is like cutting some part of human brain, just like Bethesda did in Skyrim but opposite in a way (hay you have amulet let's marry). 5. If i recall right Pillar fo Eternity was suposed to take inspiration from BG2 and Torment mostly and only "dungeons" from Icewind dale, but from what i seen it will be mostly Icewind Dale with some Neverwinter Nights 2 elements ... weird. 6. Why do i get the impresion that in this topic "romances ets", proromancers are seen as worse then "don't giva ..damn" type of presons or non-romances zealots... ? Is it just me or i don't understand something ? Im personaly a little disapointed but i will still play this game ... But i have strage feeling that in the end i shoud be gratefull if my char whoud have ability to at least "talk" to his party members ...esh
  5. Hey I what to know 1 thing. What do you thing about Priest that are devoted to "Mystical magic gods" ... It allways has weird to me that they can use fillplates and only have "some" of mistical spells. What about priest/wizard crossovers.. So masters of spells, with no abilitis in fight and hp points. The first that will die in a 1-20 lvl and the most powerfull in 30lvl beyond .. what do you think about adding possibility of playing this type of chars (useing both devine and mistical spells) ?
  6. I only hope for some update before 21 Dec if it's possible. Becouse, if not i must wait until 1 Jan ... and it will be as wainting for another walking dead episodes .. damn...
  7. They already sad that "Pillars of Eternity" will not have multiclasing .. insead they are giving us 11 customizable classes .. and im 100 % behing it

I was under the impression that that, as well as the rendering posted before it (with the lake in the center, and the archway?) were simply examples of how BG (or IE game) maps could be redone in a different style. In which case, A) the actual logistical design wasn't the artist's idea (if there was no 2nd bridge in the original, then there's no second bridge in this current one), and B) these were made relatively quickly, and were not at all intended to be finished products. If you can't quickly whip up much better results than that, then there's absolutely no reason to judge someone's creation like that. Also, the difference between you and me is not that I'm going to sit here and argue with you about how logical it definitely is to have only one bridge, but instead that I'm going to ask "why is there only one bridge?" before I actually decide it's stupid. Maybe there's no city/establishment/main road coming from the north/northeast (from across that second body of water), so the only route people are worried about taking has them either coming from the west/southwest, or from the east/southeast, and the only river they care about crossing is that one that's in the image. *shrug* I have no idea. Do you? Im not aguing about "artistic vision" with is allway "non-10%-realistic" Im arguing about non-beliveble artistic visions Creating non-beliveble route, bridge or costruction.. for 2d designers is the same for me as creating non-beliveble character in a book ... for me it's non-beliveble ..so lame ...
  9. im a begginer writher. am i understand baing "original". But why we have non original dwarves, elfs orges but original trolls, orlans, auamamauauaua .. ? For me is like wrhignting level of a tolkien fanboy that want's make something "non-corsited copy-and-paste-from-tolkien" but he still can't make a decision "em i original" or "em i copying from D7D and Torlien" .. so writhing and the level of 12 years old writher

  13. This look stupid as ****. We have a route to the bridge andf under a bridge we have a river .. then why 2 meters far whe have no bridge acros the river part ? It looks horribly non-realitic and stupid to me .. by the what "stone bride" .. they have money to bulid a bridge with stone but they didin't make in longer so we can go acros the river next ? Who was making this art ? 10 year old kid ?

  15. Not everything, it's goes to scale. Yeah you can see more "goin on" in the rest of the field. But you can not se if a person for example is smilling or be angry or giving you hand to say hello or giving you something ... But personaly in combat i prefer isomethric .. in dialog in face to face .. but i don;t supose PE will have something like that so .. i must live with it
  16. Seriusly i think that the biggest issu of PE design is not "contept" becouse concept may be awsome ... but in isometric it looks.. lame .. hand look very shotr. Yellowish legs look almost like trausers .. we don't know if they have fur or "slime" skin ... we can't assume anything besides "they have horns". And im not so critical becouse obidian is lame, im so critical becouse i KNOW obsidan can make waaaaay more better .. this is why im so ... displeast ..

It whoud be very awsome to hear you speaking about your work in eternity (insead of only reading) mayby some example of what you created/done so far ? It whoud be awsome !!

  20. I personaly think that if devs designed troll like big kittens there still whoud be many people that like this idea becouse it's "obsidian". Any type of kritic opinion is seen as trolling ..
  21. Besides, obsidan/biowere made DnD games olny recocnize your "Race" and "Class" but not both at the same time. For example you whoud take halforc paladin an nobody sees it's odd a little bit. The reactivity ended just after it started. Halforc, human, dwarv --> the same events and dialogs .. the same for mage, rogue and other classes. That was allways a downfall of games that allows you to play difrent races and classes but it was partly fixed in dragon age "orgins". Many of you sad that "orgins" didn't change to much .. well at leat changed more then in every obsidan made game. .. sorry but that truth. Even the worst designe dalish elf had some dialogs specific to his orgin, but if you combain ALL dialogs specific to race or class in any obsidan game it will still be lestt then typical dialogs for dallish .. And i Even don't say anything about the human noble and dwarven noble who where best desinged.
  22. Then why ogres in PE still look like ogres ? They don't have "Soul" I whoud not even asy why dragons skieleton, look like dragons skieleton ..
