Is PC gaming dead?
Add "Bad Company" to it, and then even I'd get it. I like those ones. Best selling game ever. EDIT: I thought I'd look on Origin for B:BC, and it's still $49.99 for the deluxe edition of 2. I think I'll wait for a sale. I guess the first one was console exclusive.

The Kickstarter Thread
The last Kickstarter that I pledged to just got funded with 50 hours to go. I was getting worried that they would need a bump too. Pandora: Purge of Pride Time to rest the credit card for a bit. i would have loved to donated to that TinyKeep, but that overpriced costume sucked out the rest of my disposable income for the month.

Watching some French Open. Michael Llodra was hanging with Milos Raonic, but he's lost it in the fourth.

...Get rid of Torres, because he was the only reason why I didn't want the Sharks to go on (regardless of what happens to my Hawks); even though I'll always love Niemi for helping us win the cup and hated that he had to go for cap reasons. I just assumed he would do something stupid again and needlessly take someone out during the Western finals as well. EDIT: I don't know why they just don't ban him from the league.

Is PC gaming dead?
Eventually another one will take over that offers something new, and then it will bleed itself to death while making a boat load of money before the next one replaces it. I still don't get what makes the new Ghost dog more special than the one in CoD:MW3. Is the MW3 dog in MP? Is that why nobody notices it and that somehow makes the Ghost one unique?

Vanquish? Really? Either way, every major studio these days releases on PC. And with Xbone/PS4 basically running on x86, PC ports will be even better optimized. Oh wait; I love playing those.

What are you playing now?
I know what you mean. The first bit of the game is brutal, even when facing weak enemies, because instadeath is just around every corner. If it makes you feel better, I had a party member with 2 hit points at start. I've taken a shot at this as well. The character creation system as a whole is just bonkers, from a modern perspective. You pick your Name, Race, and Gender, then get a "bonus point" roll for additional attribute points, which generates the list of classes that you can pick from. Most rolls are in the 4-10 range. But 1 roll in 5 will be in the mid teens, and I even got one role of 26! (My Valkyrie is fantastic.) Then you pick a Profession, and the game rolls for HP, and for Skillpoints. The assignment of attribute and skill points is mandatory, by the way, even if you intend to trash the character and re-roll. The other hilarious thing is the degree to which the game manual celebrates the fact that every player starts the game by spending an hour or two frustratingly generating characters. And this was a successful, award-winning game. The presumed audience for CRPGs in the late '80s was just... peculiar. Anyhow, yeah, my mage had only 3 HP, but the big deal is that I had a front-liner with only 4. Still, there was no way I was going to re-roll again to generate another Felpurr Ninja and hope to get another HP or two. Party is Dwarven Valkyrie, Dog-man (Rarwulf? Rawrulf?) Monk, Felpurr Ninja, Gnomish Priest, Dracon Alchemist, Faerie Mage. I'd probably could've done better by skipping the Alchemist (their spell list actually isn't that great, and the Ninja can learn it if I ever bother to put points in his Alchemy skill) in favor of a better front-liner (move the Monk back, but give him a 'reach' weapon), but I remembered having one the first time I played the game, so I stuck with it. For whatever reason, I think I remember that the game punishes you in some way if you don't have a bard in your party. All my dog-men are named Barf.

Xbox 720 Reveal
Was it always like this or did "platform wars" start with teh internetz? I remember playing games with my buddies on my NES, then going to their house and playing on their Master System and we had fun. I don't remember pulling out our console peens to compare who's was bigger. Here's a little somethin' somethin' I found on Destructiod. http://www.destructoid.com/gamer-identity-fanboys-tradition-and-perspective-254457.phtml

Hulk Hogan would headbutt this thread too; if it was in a wrestling ring; and it was the 80s because he's a real American. Fighting for the rights of every man.

Am getting murdered in Wiz6. I like those attribute editors in the D&D games from around that time. Saves you the time of constantly deleting and recreating characters. I didn't notice that one of my party members only had 3 HP. Oh yes, and equipping right off the bat... It's been a while.

14 laps to go in the Coke-a-cola 600, yellow flag. This is gonna be sweet. EDIT: As long as nobody wrecks, or there is no more debris on the track, Harvick is going to run away with it. EDIT: And he did.

Is PC gaming dead?
The Xbox 1 was a big reason why cross-platform releases include PC's, so AAA titles are more merged now than they were a little over a decade ago. When the 360 beat out the PS3 in the current generation console wars, it made more sense to port a console-centred game to PC, than vise-versa like it seemed more often than not for the Xbox 1. ----- That really is a dumber name than the Wii U. ----- Smoke has just avoided back-to-back big crashes that he was right in the middle of in the Coka Cola 600. Amazing. EDIT: Nevermind, he got a bit of a boo-boo in his rear bumper.
