She's certainly upped the ante. Initially thought a Clinton victory would result in passive acceptance but now that she/her fans are actively antagonizing a huge chunk of the left I suspect there's going to be a lot more friction. Also checked Moviebob's twitter: Oh boy.

Stuff like this is why I lost interest in studying Soviet history outside of personal reading. You can't say something as innocuous as the Soviet Union saw mass improvements in literacy, infrastructure, life expectancy and so on without triggering some conservative into accusations of Stalinism and support for mass murder. Everything is black and white with these people.

Ideally Sanders continues to gain support but dies before the election (rest his soul), Clinton makes a tasteless remark about his death which pisses off his fans, Trump wins in a landslide, economy crashes the following year, U.S splits into factions of warring states, Mexico takes advantage of this, invades and establishes a second Aztec Empire.

Nope, they're included. Figures like Hitler don't simply will themselves into power and personally exterminate millions of people. Rather they're a product of complex circumstances with various causal factors. This of course doesn't excuse their actions or mean we can't note they're colossal wankers but reducing complex events like the holocaust to simply the actions or wishes of an individual is too simplistic.

Examining any political figures in terms of "goodies and baddies" is juvenile. People are products of their circumstances and it's better to examine these circumstances as a whole rather than treating individual figures as if they exist in a vacuum.

And the PIC, and military contractors, and Walmart etc. I am dismissing their donations to places in Africa. When you're sitting on near 80 billion tossing aside a couple of million isn't particularly impressive. It's 2:30 in the morning here. I'm sleepposting.
