  1. Some are relatively privileged liberals touching on genuine social issues all the while being unable to fully grasp them as they're mired by post-modern subjectivist thinking which leads to directionless and pointless "activism". Others, swept up in the activist phenomenon, will support whatever social issue is in vogue in a neverending pursuit of progressive social capital. Both these groups will quickly wither away as those base needs you mentioned gradually become more and more difficult to satisfy on account of the growing wealth gap, total destruction of the environment and increasing international hostilities. Or something like that.
  2. What do you think of Carson?
  3. Ideologues oppose antagonising views. An insightful observation indeed.
  4. I can't help but feel what now constitutes a "sjw" has extended wider than originally intended.
  5. That's just a poor retelling of a South Park joke. For shame Garrison.
  6. That may be the case in the newer Fallouts but I recall the older ones depicting a society working together and rebuilding within the ruins of a nuclear fallout. A "deeply conservative" telling of Fallout would look more like most zombie media where it's basically every man for himself.
  7. Bump because apparently there was another one.
  8. I look forward to a bunch of liberals triggered by costumes forming a revolutionary vanguard and leading the overthrow of the existing state of affairs.
  9. It seems the only group more melodramatic than the SJWs is the anti-SJWs.
  10. I don't understand. Why would there be racial animosity in South Africa.
  11. Do not want but I'd watch this.
  12. Carson has promised anarchy by 2016. Trump needs to step up his game.
  13. I've changed my mind I want Carson for president.
  14. Being male and calling yourself feminist comes across as incredibly douchey to me.
  15. I can understand the sentiment. The way the outfit was marketed always seemed to treat it as some kind of "fun" and "sexy" attire as opposed to something that was forced upon the character whilst she was in sexual slavery. That was a key part of the second-wave though. "The personal is political"
  16. I know nothing about Warcraft outside of some South Park episode but the orcs look overdesigned as ****. Seriously, pierced tusks?
  17. They got the beard wrong. Can Ubisoft do anything right?
  18. I've never found that a fair complaint. Of course there's stupid memes everywhere, it's set in a highschool. What matters is they never really crammed it into the dialogue resulting in Bioware tier "references" Ahem
  19. Yeah that'd be pretty dumb. Did she actually say that though? If there's one thing I've learned about tumblr's "gender community" it's that they're often prone to just straight up lying.
  20. The think piece was written a week after the show was released. The ****posting was in response to that. I was there man.
  21. "Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they're in good company." From what I recall the brony phenomenon came about when someone wrote a thinkpiece on MLP and how crappy modern children's television is. Because it was worded so pretentiously a bunch of people began to ironically appreciate the show and pretended to find deeper meaning in it. This quickly became annoying which in turn encouraged more ironic MLP ****posting. Somewhere down the line it eventually became unironic appreciation. That or they're really committed to the bit.
  22. I read that as Chinese Communist Party.
  23. That can't be real. Surely.
  24. A follow up on the Greer story I thought would probably be liked here: Link
