For hand tools, Craftsman and Snap-On are long lasting high quality tools that come with a lifetime replacement warranty for corrosion or breakage. For power tools, Dewalt is excellent (and pricey) and frequently the choice of building professionals.

Alienware is way out of my budget but I love Dell. They have been my sole supplier for all the PC's I buy at work and for personal use and have yet to dissapoint me.

There was a very famous, disastrous mounted charge against a group of tanks that is viewed as the true end to horseback combat during WWI, although I cannot remember the name of the specific battle. IIRC, horseback cavalry charges took place in WWII with the Poles in a last ditch effort against the German invasion. It didnt work out so good then either.
