Some, yes, but most large scale projects (roads, schools, etc...) are funded by the government. Couple that with small population states (low tax income) that have zero natural resources and they would become third world dumps in under a decade.
Like you say, California could probably survive as well as Texas (oil) but everone else would fold up like a beach chair as soon as Federal funding was pulled.
Update. Went into Karazhan for the first time last night and the first boss drops some epic bracers for me! Also got a new boom stick (wand) in Shattered Halls.
I guess its all in the eye of the beholder. I very much enjoy the graphics and effects from WoW while greatly disliking the "realistic" graphics of NWN2.
Scalping is illegal here in Illinois. How do they prove you were scalping? If you sell the ticket for more then face value, its scalping (you are allowed to sell it at face value). They will often have plain clothed officers wandering around outside of the venue and they will approace people trying to sell their tickets. If the sell price is higher then the face price, I think, they will confiscate the tickets and write you a fine.
Whats that symbol for your 4th party member supposed to represent?
That's a bat. Like a familiar or a summon.
Ah, I see it now, thanks. Looked weird on this work LCD, like a normal hand holding hands with a gauntleted hand.
Not to call you a dirty rotten maker-upper of stuff () but I dont recall ever seeing Sylar fly. To do so he would have had to kill another flyer. Would you happen to recall which episode that was? I have almost all of the webcomics and would like to see that.
astr0 is talking about the boy Claire met in her new school. At the end of the episode we see him floating outside Claire's 2nd story window peeping before flying off.
Yeah, OZ is pretty hardcore. Once you get past all the butt-rape it is an excellent series. I watched it from premier to finale although it does start to suffer in the last season from
I dont think it was Nathan that killed Hiro's father. What did he say right before going over the edge, something like "I never thought they would send you"? To me, that eludes to the fact that he knew his killer (IIRC, hes never met Nathan) and also that the killer was probably affiliated with whatever mysterious group he's in.
