Cool pic, that may be the first time Ive seen a $500 bill. I take it from the serial number thats the first one printed but the paragraph in the upper left is GOLD. Get it? Gold. I kill me.
Gfted1's foolproof technique for dog attacks*:
(Note: You must not mind hurting the dog)
If it looks like your about to get mauled by a dog the best thing to do, imo, is to be the one deciding where you get bitten. With that in mind, when the dog attacks;
1) Stick out your forearm (they generally bite whatever is closest) and let the dog bite down.
2) Lift your arm which will expose the dog windpipe.
3) Punch the windpipe vigorously.
*Ive never actually had to do this but it seems like it should work.
That episode was smothered in lame sauce. So we're to believe Kensai never once in his life sustained an injury and noticed it heal prior to Hiro showing up? Linderman, a collector of all things heroic, who poured studiously over the sword while it was in his collection, never once noticed "Ando open" engraved into the hilt of the most famous samurai sword in Japans history? Come on.
They would still have governments.
Hehe, I meant "are funded by the Federal government".
Pretty much. There are a few examples of resources but no population to speak of (Alaska) and of a high population but no resources (New York) but rare is the combination or resources and population in one place. The "South" could do it with agriculture? Nope, that didnt even work 142 years ago. The midwest with its manufacturing? Possibly. The giant void of nothingness strecthing E-W between Illinois and California? Good luck with that.
Some, yes, but most large scale projects (roads, schools, etc...) are funded by the government. Couple that with small population states (low tax income) that have zero natural resources and they would become third world dumps in under a decade.
Like you say, California could probably survive as well as Texas (oil) but everone else would fold up like a beach chair as soon as Federal funding was pulled.
Update. Went into Karazhan for the first time last night and the first boss drops some epic bracers for me! Also got a new boom stick (wand) in Shattered Halls.
I guess its all in the eye of the beholder. I very much enjoy the graphics and effects from WoW while greatly disliking the "realistic" graphics of NWN2.
Scalping is illegal here in Illinois. How do they prove you were scalping? If you sell the ticket for more then face value, its scalping (you are allowed to sell it at face value). They will often have plain clothed officers wandering around outside of the venue and they will approace people trying to sell their tickets. If the sell price is higher then the face price, I think, they will confiscate the tickets and write you a fine.
Whats that symbol for your 4th party member supposed to represent?
That's a bat. Like a familiar or a summon.
Ah, I see it now, thanks. Looked weird on this work LCD, like a normal hand holding hands with a gauntleted hand.
