I hope I get out of work before the snow hits. Were expecting another 2-4" between 3pm-12am and after that "blizzard conditions" with wind gusts up to 35mph and -20F temps with the wind chill. F-ing yay.

Eh, just sounds like the WoW formula. Pick a class and pick a talent tree. IMO thats an excellent approach, I like being able to see where Im going wrt my build.

Nope, they werent allowed until the last 15 years or so and I remember it being a BIG deal back then. In the runup to allowing them on combat ships we all had to go through sesitivity and sexual harrasment classes. Then they sent a detachment of women out for a 30 day workup and the whole ship was in an uproar. You see, we were used to a sausage party for six months at a pop so letting women on board was like throwing bloody steak to hungry lions. They even went so far as to post watches on the womens dorm and tell us if anyone "turned up pregnant" there was hell to pay, lol.

I cant speak for the other branches but I remember as far back as 1993-94 the Navy had started letting women on combatant ship (like the carrier I was station on at the time) instead of just support vessels.

Hehe, not learning the game per se, but finding out where someting is. No non-MMROPG is anywhere close to the size of a MMORPG.

Alt + Tab is a life saver for me. It allows me to minimize WoW to go to thottbot to look something up, lol.

Neither of those worked. Everything was already "on" in regedit and Im pretty sure Im logged on as Admin because I can install stuff all day, if I manually navigate to the launcher. Oh well, not really a big deal, more an annoyance.

Big snow coming in?

90% of my WoW gaming is solo. Im in a humungus guild but I really dont chit chat with anyone. Im not anti-chit chat, I just tend to be too focused (oblivious?) to pay attention to the goings on in the guild chat. Im really only even in a guild for the benefits it affords my toon. Im much more conversive with random passer by's and almost all of my instances are done with PuG's.

Thank LC and samm but that didnt help my case. The choices under the Autoplay Tab all seem to be for music or movies, nothing representing the autostart like if you put a new program in for the first time and it autostarts the install process.

I may be wrong, but doesn't this seem confusing? Wielding magic is a *natural ability* that comes in late childhood... So why can't Fighters and Thieves use it? Do they lose the ability once they choose a profession or something? Or are people already born with classes? Not everyone achieves the ability to use majic in late childhood, its hit or miss. Then, once detected, that person has no choices other than entering the Harrowing (save or die) or becoming stilled and an emotionless husk. Or they could break camp but then they would be hunted. Out of all that probably you cant fail the Harrowing and the other two are just lore devices.

Thanks for the help Calax but Ive been to the ones you mentioned. I dont think Ill ever get that Northern Exposure achievement unless it stumbles into my crosshairs. You see, Im rubbish at reading people/NPC names. I just click and fire never bothering to notice if they have the silver dragon around thier portrait. Its so bad Ive frequently found myself standing right next to a guildy and not acknowledge them until they do something, like talk to me.

Zul Drak is a nasty one yes, I died 3-4 times before I could get it right, but the one Im referring to was out in Storm Peaks where you ride the King out to the field of frozen warriors. You dont even have to fight, just go for the ride, but I couldnt see around him at all. I didnt even consider it could be due to my resolution. I have an old rig with a 17" LCD set to 1024 x 768, so that may be part of my problem. Also, I wish there was a method to see which quests you're missing. Ive kinda become an achievement whore and I have two regions that I havent gotten the quest completions for. One areas is missing two quests, the other only one quest. I spent about an hour flying around Storm Peaks various quest hubs last night and I couldnt find the two I need there.

So much for the theory of "only the disenfranchised" want to attack jews.

Huh, I dont remember a poop quest since BC. Also, I dont remember even one of those quests you just described and Ive gone through those areas to the point of getting the quest completion achievements. Are they Alliance side only? But yeah, thats the stuff Im referring to. The Horde has a bunch where you wind up enlisting some giant for help and your avatar rides either on his shoulder or in one hand and its really hard to see whats going on. In one quest I had to scroll the view all the way in and when I got there the perspective was from between the giants legs. Thats right, I was a giants nut sack.

They are quite destructive. My coworker did hours of research online and found that once they set up a den on one side of your attic then next step is to set up a latrine on the other side. As you can imagine that cant be good for your insulation and drywall. That doesnt even factor in the damage they cause to enter the house, which you cant repair until you have them out or they will just chew through again. Also they drop a stupid number of pups per litter and, IIRC, have 2-3 litters per year. Its quite difficult to uproot them because once they have settled on a "den" they also become very territorial, meaning he himself could have been attacked/bitten just going in his own attic. Granted, he did it the hard way. He didnt want to kill them so he did the cages, buckets of ammonia in the attic, strobe lights, etc... and it took him about 3 months to get it under control. I would have just lobbed a gas capsule up there and picked up the bodies in a few hours. The down side to that method is they will burrow under the insulation to die (hard to find) so now you have decaying squirrel in your attic.
