You know, I just dont understand where teachers are coming from wrt the incessant bitching about their pay. If we look at the average income of full time adults in the U.S. we see that number comes to $39,336.00. Now lets look at the average U.S. teachers salary and we see that number is $47,602.00 and that was two years ago. So, not only do they earn vastly more per year then the average U.S. citizen but they also only work 9 months per year! If they want more how about they get a part time job during their break to suppliment their income instead of sitting on the couth scratching their nuts for 3 months?
^Im curious, how would you justify the examples of people ridiculously overpaid. You honestly feel an autoworker is worth 89/hour?
Unions were necessary years ago before laws and regulations were mandated to set an hours per week limit / benefits / etc..., now they are just an anchor around the neck of any employer that has to deal with them.
I hate scorpions. They freak me out and every one Ive ever seen has ended in a pulpy mess. Im cool with spider and will let them freely roam as long as they dont come below eye level. I call that my "eye level rule". Clever huh?
speak for yourself: i'm still using a cassette tape drive.
I hear SoZ comes in a 4096 cassette tapes version.
Lol. I wound up snagging a portable DVD from work to install WotLK. I was going to buy a new DVD since they are fairly cheap but in the end I figured why waste the money, especially since WotLK is a one-time install that doesnt require the disk to play.
Wow, a lot of good responces. Guess its my turn.
You're young and in college. For Christ sake man, go out, get liquored up, find some equally liquored up hottie, take her home. Repeat as necessary. Maybe get some food somewhere in the middle there.
By far, Im the cleaner of the two of us (my wife and I). Shes not so much a "slob" as Im a bit anal, I cant stand it when there's clutter all over the place. Shes got no problem leaving a sink full of dishes but the one that really gets me is she will just drop her dirty laundry on the master bathroom floor two inches away from the hamper. I mean its right friggin there, is it asking too much to lift the lid and drop it in there instead of on the floor in front of it?
I havent made a DK yet and probably wont untill my mage gets to 80, although you guys have me intrigued with the DK starting area. I was really pleasantly surprised with how smoothly the installation and updating went. No hassles, no errors, no server lag. Blizzard really had their sh*t wired tight for this launch and I find that to be a breath of fresh air. It wasnt even crowded in the new starting areas and I was able to easily complete quests.
I dont know if the store I ordered had a midnight launch but thats not my bag anyway. Im not that excited but there was a bunch of guild chatter about people who had either dispatched a spouse to go wait in line or were about to go themselves.
Okay, I lied, Im pretty damn excited. Only 6h 38m till I can fly this chicken coop and go pick up preeeciiioousss WotK.
Im surprised nobody brought those discrepencies (tagets speed / distance) to the pilots attention over all these years. I mean, it seems pretty cut and dry with the application of one formula.
^That part infuriated me too. Im totally incapable of wrapping my mind around how someone can do things like this to the totally defenceless, be them children, elderly or even animals. IMO, certain people are beyond redemption/rehabilitation and should just be thrown in a hole and forgotton.
I preordered it last night from Best Buy and they already had it in stock. Ill be picking it up on the way home tomorrow. To get a DK you need to have at least one level 70 character and the DK is a new slot.
I'll be sticking to my fire mage right out of the gate untill lvl 80 then maybe Ill check out the DK. Im not really interested in melee classes and the new DK zone is going to be a friggin zoo for a week or two.
Lets see:
Reactor cost: 25,000,000
Lifetime: 10 years
Homes supported: 20,000
So, 25M/10Y = 2,500,000 per year / 20,000 = $125.00 per year per house. Nice!
