  1. Ah, just wondering. He/she has the "rogue" / "rouge" thing in their signature.
  2. Wait a minute, are you Cinnabar Dun over at Bioware?
  3. Ive still yet to go to Utgarde and I havent even found the Nexus. This expansion Ive really focused on clearing out a territory (getting the exploration and quest completion achievments) before I go to the next area. Usually there is a quest which "guides" you to a certain new territory like the armor you pick up at the end of the Wrathgate chain that needs to be returned to the orc father in a different territory. As for instances Ive done, did both of Azjol-Nerub (super short instances) and the troll one Thor Modok or something like that.
  4. Congrats Kiro! \o/ Hit 76 Wednesday and Ive only set foot in three territories (Fjord, Dragonblight, Grizzly). Whats this phasing you guys are talking about?
  5. Sorry to hear that GD. Heres hoping you land on your feet. Okay, I saw your post about the doctor, then your bummed out posts in the games section, now this. So whats eating you?
  6. Cool, glad you found something. Im in the same boat (my CD-R just died, the door wont even open) but my PC is so old Ill probably just pick up a DVD player to install stuff until the whole system poops the bed.
  7. It probably wasnt rejected. Quixotical (Mistress) almost never post on her own board anymore and it has been taking MONTHS for new user accounts to get approved for posting. Try dropping her a direct email.
  8. I recently borrowed a portable DVD drive from work to install WotLK and it was a breeze. Plugged it into a USB port, turned it on and installed hassle free. No drivers needed or anything, it was simply recognized by Windows and as far as I know it was cheap as dirt (has a label on top that says "Mad Dog Multimedia", whoever the hell they are). And as others have stated, new DVD drives (the kind you install into your PC) are less then $50.00 but thats probably for just a player only. If you want DVD-R it may be slightly more.
  9. There is a certain time window where you are allowed to edit your posts after you make them. After this limit (I dont know the length) the edit button will disappear. This was apparently done so people couldnt go back and edit out stuff other people have replied to or some craziness like that.

Because he's evil... again. Only problem I saw with the solar eclipse thingie was Adam. How did he survive through them across the years? I thought his encounter with Petrelli dad made clear that his regeneration was the only thing what could keep him alive. Well eclipses only last a few minutes so all he had to do was not get hurt during one.
  11. The problem is that, for ships that can't outrun or outmaneuver the pirates' speedboats, there really isn't much that armed guards can do. The pirates are generally armed with RPGs-- all they have to do is get close enough, and they can threaten to put a round in the target ship's hull. A sharpshooter might be able to take out the guy with the RPG before he gets a shot off, but what ship owner is going to want to take that risk? Good point, it does potentially escalate the risk. Still though, a couple dozen sailors spraying machine gun fire in the general direction of the speedboat might give a few pirates pause. I just hate the "theres nothing we can do" approach to anything, lol.
  12. How in the world can they make this into a MMORPG? Maybe my memory is foggy but wasnt DK where you were the bad guy, excavate your own dungeon and then when your forces are of sufficient strength you bumrush the good guys dungeon which is controlled by the computer? I loved the game and beat it a few times (my favorite was torturing the last dungeon endboss untill he flipped to my side) but how would it work with thousands of live players? Just a huge map where everyone makes their own dungeons then randomly attack whichever other dungeon you like? It not like there is any story or lore to follow.

    So why did Sylar
  14. I was wondering how long it would take before companies resorted to mercs or armed their own sailors.
  15. Sadly, Bok's warning came too late.
  16. Chugging along and made level 75 over the weekend. Just two more levels untill I get my sweet, sweet, epic flight back. I had forgotten just how much teh suck it is running around on a mount compared to flying. This expansion is head and shoulders above BC. Im having a good time on the quests and I finally got to see the cutscene in Dragonblight that Calax was talking about, which was pretty cool.
  17. Hell yeah Im ready for Christmas. Im off from 24 Dec to 5 Jan, woohoo! I havent done one bit of shopping yet but that all works itself out in the end.
  18. Happy Birthday!!!!
  19. Zots. Any NX3 should be filled to the gills with Zots, like they hit the Zots lotto. Meticulous, hand crafted, lovingly nurtured zots. And maybe one competent QA.
  20. Tonight I will get blind, stinkin, drunk while playing WoW to ease into my four day weekend. Tomorrow is dinner at my sister-in-laws (thank god, I hate hosting parties) which is doubly righteous due to her humongus flat panel TV for football watching. Happy Thanksgiving all.
  21. The sentences would haveto run consecutively vice concurrently for that to be true.
  22. But whats the point of giving 25 life sentences if they are running concurrently? Might as well be 100, 1000, bazillion.
  23. Wow, terrible story. I dont get this part:
