  1. Zul Drak is a nasty one yes, I died 3-4 times before I could get it right, but the one Im referring to was out in Storm Peaks where you ride the King out to the field of frozen warriors. You dont even have to fight, just go for the ride, but I couldnt see around him at all. I didnt even consider it could be due to my resolution. I have an old rig with a 17" LCD set to 1024 x 768, so that may be part of my problem. Also, I wish there was a method to see which quests you're missing. Ive kinda become an achievement whore and I have two regions that I havent gotten the quest completions for. One areas is missing two quests, the other only one quest. I spent about an hour flying around Storm Peaks various quest hubs last night and I couldnt find the two I need there.
  2. So much for the theory of "only the disenfranchised" want to attack jews.
  3. Huh, I dont remember a poop quest since BC. Also, I dont remember even one of those quests you just described and Ive gone through those areas to the point of getting the quest completion achievements. Are they Alliance side only? But yeah, thats the stuff Im referring to. The Horde has a bunch where you wind up enlisting some giant for help and your avatar rides either on his shoulder or in one hand and its really hard to see whats going on. In one quest I had to scroll the view all the way in and when I got there the perspective was from between the giants legs. Thats right, I was a giants nut sack.

LOL, cold war mentality for you. Wiki link

You didnt know that was a real weapon?
  6. They are quite destructive. My coworker did hours of research online and found that once they set up a den on one side of your attic then next step is to set up a latrine on the other side. As you can imagine that cant be good for your insulation and drywall. That doesnt even factor in the damage they cause to enter the house, which you cant repair until you have them out or they will just chew through again. Also they drop a stupid number of pups per litter and, IIRC, have 2-3 litters per year. Its quite difficult to uproot them because once they have settled on a "den" they also become very territorial, meaning he himself could have been attacked/bitten just going in his own attic. Granted, he did it the hard way. He didnt want to kill them so he did the cages, buckets of ammonia in the attic, strobe lights, etc... and it took him about 3 months to get it under control. I would have just lobbed a gas capsule up there and picked up the bodies in a few hours. The down side to that method is they will burrow under the insulation to die (hard to find) so now you have decaying squirrel in your attic.
  7. My coworker recently fought off a squirrel infestation in his attic. Apparently they had chewed a hole through the facia near his roof and set up shop. He looked into an exterminator but they wanted $100.00/squirrel up to 12 squirrels, after that they were free. Instead he bought 5 no-kill cages off ebay and now 32 squirrels, 4 racoons, 2 possum and 2 neighbors cats later his problem is gone and he was able to reboard the roof. The funny thing is that squirrels, like some other animals, can find their way "home" even as far as 10 miles away so he would load up his car and bring them to work to release out back.
  8. You know, I just bought a brand new Dell for work and the same thing happens, no autostart when I put a CD/DVD in. I looked around at settings for like 10 whole seconds before I gave up and just navigate to it via the "run" command but Id like to know how to fix this too.
  9. Got in lots of WoW time over the holiday. One little niggle I have is that due to the kickass phasing its slightly harder to get groups together for the "group" quests as everyone has to be on the same page or they wont even be able to see the enemy (or other party mambers) once they get to the quest location. Im also not a huge fan of all the quests that involve me riding something. The war machines and mounts are cool but every time I have to ride a giant the view really gets blocked by the giants body and I have to scroll the view all the way in just to be able to see around him.
  10. So Im back at work and it sucks. That is all.
  11. Sorry to hear about grammy Hurlshot. Got to see a bunch of movies over the holiday: TDK: Meh, it was alright. The Joker stole the show but it could have been shorter and I was getting tired of Batman's 5-pack-a-day smokers voice. Too bad they , he was one of the most interesting characters IMO. Hellboy II: Oh how they bent over one of my beloved movies. I loved Hellboy, could watch it over and over. This one? Not so much. I cant put my finger on what I didnt like but all the charm of the first installment was gone for me in this one. Way too campy or something. Oh, and creature from the black lagoon guy falling in love with the elven princess in like .004 seconds? What? Stupid. Tropic Thunder: Rented the "directors cut" and I think that was a mistake. Solid movie with some truly hilarious stuff (seeing him run out of the village at the end with the kid on his back stabbing him had me rolling) but overall a little to long. The Happening: Just when I thought M. Night Shamalamadingdong couldnt go any lower then The Village, he drops this turd. Dont bother.
  12. Eh, I never played any of the Warcrafts so its all new to me.
  13. Made level 80 with my mage on WoW. Booya! I havent had a lot of time to play with it but Im digging the new spell Mirror Image. It creates three exact clones (for a total of four of you) that last for 30 seconds, each of which are capable of casting spells. So far Ive only used it once, and that was against one target, and they only cast ice spells (hoping they cast other stuff) but its pretty cool. Got mining to 450 at the same time and Toughness bumps up to rank 6 for a 500hp passive buff.
  14. I guess that depends on how hard you want to "not believe". Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden specifically have repeatadly taken credit for 9/11 over the years. Of course I suppose that can be splained away with "dodgy confession tapes" and "Al-Qaeda is really part of the CIA" reasoning.
  15. We got hit Tuesday (took me 2h15m to get home) but tonight is supposed to be the grandaddy. Were expecting 7-12 inches between 8pm tonight and 8am tomorrow. On the bright side that means there will be a snow day tomorrow (no school) for my daughter and Ill be taking the day off. w00t!

    Hes in
  18. That would have been awesome. He does seem to have been wearing his Ring of Shoe Avoidance +5. Ive seen a still picture of him already mid-duck while the shoe has just left the reporters hand.
  19. Im pretty sure the Iraqi Prime Ministers guards are the one to put the beatdown on him. TBH, I havent seen the U.S. Secret Service mentioned even once in any article so Im not even sure they were there.
  20. Not exactly a match to your example but interesting none the less. (scroll down a little) EDIT: And no, I dont belive the twin towers were dropped in a conspiracy.
  21. The delicious irony of this is being if we were never there this clown would have never had this "right". Well, not lived to tell about it anyway.
