Im using IE7. The funny thing is that the viral hit seems to trigger on the graphics. For example, I can log into Gfted1's cell and Ill get the NAV warning but a picture of her wont display. If I try to watch a fight the entire screen will load, including the center arena, but no toons will display and you cant see the fight or result.

Wasnt your main a mage? You were my inspiration to try Arcane. Yeah, I saw some grousing in trade chat that the nerf hammer was dropping on Warlocks, how bad is it?

So Im pretty underwhelmed with the Arcane tree. I really lose a lot of CC and AoE by not having Dragons Breath, Blast Wave and Living Bomb, not to mention the insta-proc of Flamestrike after using either Blastwave or Dragons Breath. Doing a couple of BG's last night really drove home the fact that my DPS was about half of what I normally do in an average BG. Im going to give it a few more attempts to make sure Im not overlooking some nuance, and Id like to run an instance as Arcane but if things dont improve dramatically Im going to change my offspec to Frost.

Huh? My mage has a strength of like 25. Im lucky to be able to move under my own power, lol. So after playing around with the dual spec thing its no big deal. It was a total was of 1k gold for me because up untill yesterday I had never even respeced once before but eh, I can afford to piss it away. Went with Arcane for my dual and I think I actually came out better on my Fire tree with a much smarter selection this time around. Not a huge difference between the two, Arcane providing more mana and higher overall crit percentage at the expense of fire focused crit percentage and Fire having better AoE, CC and fire focused crit. Havent had a chance yet to see which is the better dps.

Ah, well thats not so bad then.

Hopefully it comes with a significant cooldown (Id be happy with 10 minutes or so) just so you dont get people metagaming right in the middle of an instance / battleground.

Im not sure how I feel about some of the patch changes Ive read about. Specifically the ability to be dual specced and change on the fly with nothing but a cooldown sounds a little gamey to me. IMO, you should not be able to be good at everything but instead have to choose a focus. Its the same thing I dont like about 3.5E, its an everything goes free for all.

Icandoit chop me good. At least I one shot that damn dog, lol. Hummelgumpf uses me for spear practice. Vanilla Float stabbed all my blood out! 0-3 today. My whuppin stick would be a lot more effective if it didnt fly out of my hands every time I get hit.

After 21 years of smoking I gave it up last Friday night cold turkey. So far, so good. Wasnt nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Granted, the first 24 hours I was in some state of delerium as the nicotine left my body, felt almost like a 2-3 beer buzz, but since then its been fairly smooth sailing. Unfortunately, Mrs. Gfted1 flamed out after around 19 hours so shes been banished to the outside while smoking so as to not put unnecessary temptation on me. Shes still trying but shes going to try the cut-it-down-a-little-at-a-time approach. I must say, the hardest part BY FAR is not the physical addiction to nicotine but the habitual action of smoking. You know, wake up, have a smoke, eat, have a smoke, bored, have a smoke...

As a cheaper, easier solution, I wonder how feasible it would be to just keep a swarm of armed Predator drones over the area.
