  8. Same. But Ive taken a few home tests just for the experience. Always negative.
  9. A new coal mine with a windfarm spinning on the horizon. Anywho, I bet a tazer would have ended those shenanigans post haste.
  10. Our garbage days have been shifted over the last few weeks due to the holidays. Are you sure you didnt just miss the revised pickup date?
  11. I have a sliding scale with lakes: On a boat/jet ski/tube? Hell yeah let the good times roll. Swimming in the lake? Eh, if I get hot or have to pee. Walking into a lake? Do not like! Mud and decayed vegetation between my toes gives me the heebie-jeebies.
  12. Im with you here. The first house I ever bought had an in-ground 9' deep pool (with diving board) and I loved it...for a little while...then the shine got knocked right off that apple. Even considering that I actually found it relaxing to scoop the leaves and debris out of the water, having to do it every single day, and keep the pH right, just became a pita.
  13. Im pretty sure my touchdown/interception ration is better than Prescott.
  14. I have a lot of H0 trains/track/switches/buildings/transformers passed down to me from my father. Really nice stuff that I fondly remember playing with as a child. Its all dutifully packed away in storage not having seen the light of day in decades. I love it, I just dont have anywhere to set it up.
  15. Well the Marines are division of the Navy.
  16. Different strokes for different folks is fine too. Im still salty that Wrecked got cancelled. Wrecked (TV Series 2016–2018) - IMDb
  17. Wait, people wont watch shows unless they know it has a guaranteed multi-year run? Whats the minimum in your head...3 seasons...4 seasons? I think thats when actor contracts get expensive? For me, I dont care. If I like it I watch it and if I dont, I dont.
  18. ^My two factor authentication was janky after a recent vacation, so if youve managed to replace your phone in the last two years, PM Fionavar and they can straighten it out.

  20. Switch to a VPN located in the US?
  21. I too watched Black Adam. It was my first exposure to that character and they did a good enough job explaining the backstory, but the movie itself was just meh. Imo, Dwayne Johnson is much better as a loveable rogue instead of "serious" roles.
  22. Oh yeah, typo, I meant prunes. Ill pick some up next time we cook it.
  23. The recipe she used was very simple, only 4 ingredients; 3 Lb meat, a package of au jus gravy, a package of ranch dressing and 6 oz of pepperoncini with the juice. Then everyone in the crockpot for 4 hours. I really like the bitterness/vinegary-ness of the pepperoncini, so I think the dates would diminish that?
  24. We had company over and my wife tried a new recipe (to us), Mississippi pot roast, and it turned out fantastic. Its our new favorite. Home made mashed potatoes and oven roasted asparagus in olive oil w/ shredded parmesan over the top for the sides. Then we all got hit by an Epsolon tequila truck.
