    I was in the middle of editing that out but since you ask, spell preparation is still in PoE, at least wrt mages (everyone else gets the full monty right out of the gate, right?) . They will eventually become per encounter as you level up too. I feel that's not so dissimilar to cooldowns as those can be set to different timers (based on spell / ability strength). So, you wind up with a similar system that doesn't introduce a moronic resting mechanic. Of course this is all conceptual handwaving. If I ever get around to playing PoE Ill be entering god mode immediately after character creation.

    Im glad you guys are finally coming around but tis sad to see nispen still has so much hurt in the butt. Cooldowns offer the added versatility of being used more or less often, based on the duration of the battles.

    I think it does in a fashion. Isnt there some achievement for not resting more than times? But it probably doesnt tell you the total amount of times you have rested.

    All spells and abilities should be on cooldowns, like D3. Some offering a faster recovery than others.

    Journal entry Day 2: I still have not received any redistributed wealth. Im starting to think the entire concept is yet more internet hot air. How will I pay for my wifes new car without the spoils of other peoples efforts?? Why cant the world see my disadvantages and take care of them for me?? Darkness approaches...

    I took a break after the next to last Beta and haven't been able to overcome my inertia since. I totally plan on revisiting it as soon as all the patching is done.

    Your generosity knows no bounds. Iirc, you hail from the "S" portion of your location so I could not in good conscience accept your redistributed wealth. Is your crib by the beach by chance? Maybe I could just flop there for a while when I go on vacation that other suckers hand wringers financed? Hmm, I don't like hippies or the Cubs. Can I just wear stuff made out of hemp instead?

    /drool Bet all that righteous indignation would melt away in an instant. I'm surprised that you didn't propose dispersal via drones. My original thought was drone dispersal, like when they crop dust fields for pests. But then Malc went and one-upped me so I had to roll with the BUFF's. Its been almost 2 hours since I offered the world the opportunity to give me their wealth. No replies yet. Weird how armchair social engineering doesn't work.

    Rofl, these riots are a joke to me. Some random dude dies and the community response is to steal toilet paper? The rioters have nothing to do with civil liberties and everything to do with opportunistic crime. They deserve nothing less then the full force of our riot control forces. Armed insurrection?
