  1. Boeing patents laser-powered fusion-fission jet engine (that’s truly impossible).
  2. Imagine how awesome it would be to have a built in "Wi-Fi" that gave you access to any data you wanted at any time. :droolemoticon:
  3. I dunno, just look at that tongue! Maybe a Water Hag has mad skills but cant share them because the world shuns them.

  7. Im still a little confused. I though my example was a clear indication that it did/does exists, but I am sure there are many sub-examples that I didn't cite. Specifically racial profiling? I dunno. If you patrol a minority neighborhood are you going to look for non-minority perpetrators? I suspect you mean outlier cases like the one you mentioned a long time ago about the police hassling some bums or something? Im more curious about sentencing disparities. Every crime has window of punishment, regardless of who commits the crime. So what causes the disparity? Having a good lawyer? Im sure that definitely tilts things to your advantage but is that it? I would be interested to see the sentencing ranges received for both black and white defendants that used a public defender. Are the sentences closer in those case?
  8. I don't really understand your question or how it applies to what I said. Can you clarify?
  9. Yeah, I couldn't listen to the song at work but that's the look of a man having troubles with his lady.
  10. Did you check the attic? They are probably hiding in the attic.
  11. I agree that any race can be racist but disagree that there is/was no "systemic" racism. US government backed segregation of Black / Japanese / Native American being excellent examples. Also, I cant recall ever seeing you start a thread.

  13. IBM's New Chip Is Four Times as Powerful as Today's Best Silicon.
  14. That's a interesting question. Active pedo's? Of course. Inactive pedo's? Hmm, that's a tough thought experiment. An "inactive" pedo hasn't actually acted on the impulses but only thought about it? We cant prosecute thought crime and I wouldn't want to. Now if an "inactive" pedo somehow insinuated that they were attracted to my kid, but "would never do anything", they would probably still get a knuckle sandwich. Im a flawed human being.
  15. I think you misunderstand me. I personally have a low threshold for what I consider scumbaggery and Cosby definitely fits the bill (see what I did there). As do all pedophiles, obviously. But thankfully for all concerned, they do not allow me to mete out justice, because I probably would not be able to strip out emotion and look at things objectively. That's why you must let the judicial system run its course, criminally. Socially/professionally hes already a dead man walking.
  16. The court of public opinion is not the same as a court of law. One of the reasons for a court is to strip away the emotions and examine the facts.
  17. ^Amen brother.
  18. He has hurt in his butt over SC:
  19. @melkathi: How are you finding the real-time aspect of the gameplay? Does it have a pause? And look at those kooky wall plugs! The crooked TV is giving me a facial tic.
  20. I see, just like the 50 State Quarter Program.
  21. Euro currency designs vary from country to country?
