Yeah, Im a cat person myself, but only for selfish reasons. No animal will ever love you like your dog loves you but they need "hands on" care (feeding, letting out, walking). With a cat you cat leave a bowl of food on the floor for a week and it goes crap in a box so maintenance is low, but you are just there to serve the cat.
