I think youre having a conversation that only took place in your head. I don't see a single post where I claim my make believe vigilante justice was fair. I even go so far as to acknowledge its "unfairness" by me having to "pay the price". Edit: ^Ninja'd!

Now I get it, were having a pissing contest over the word "rational". R00fles! I don't think stoning an adulterer to death or marrying a child is "rational", but other cultures do. What are you and l33t's grand proclamations on those matters?

I disagree. Sweet revenge can absolutely be "rational" to the aggrieved. Exactly. Life is terribly unfair, wrongdoers should pay, I am not above the law.

The fight scenes make me lol too. Cold and Heat Wave firing in 360 arcs, Firestorm blasting with nuclear fire and Atom firing mini-missiles but the mooks never suffer more than a knockout.

Sure, me too, but "rational" is in the eye of the beholder. If someone snatched up my kid and I somehow got to them before the police, Bad Things would happen. Doesnt mean I wouldn't have to pay the piper afterwards. That's the price we pay for living in an orderly society.

Ive been very fortunate to not have experienced violent crime against me (knock on wood), and my life has been no cakewalk, but thats immaterial. Murder, imo, is the one crime the victim cant come back from. Many other crimes are super terrible too, but death is absolute. When one murders another (different from accidental), then I dont think the offender should be afforded opportunities that the victim will never get. So sayeth me.

If that's your thing. Unless performed in self defense, murderers get no sympathy or understanding from me. I don't care if momma didnt love enough or pappy spanked their bottom. Tough, I know, but some crimes are unforgivable to me. You, like the Swedish top cop, may stare into your navel as long as you like, pontificating "if only life was fair", but I don't have the energy.

This is "boobplate" and this picture was the original working concept art for an NPC named Cadegund. Soon after the release of the picture by Obs, there was a huge outcry and the concept art was immediately changed to remove the offending armor curvatures.

Imo, people should just call a spade a spade and admit they simply do not like the aesthetics instead of all the mental gymnastics on how ONLY boobplate couldn't possibly work but everything else is totes feasible.

That's two completely different animals. One occurs BEFORE crimes are committed, and in the case of the Swedish head of police, one occurred AFTER the crime was committed.

Its called magic, AC. For consistency sake, I assume you also frown upon the rings and amulets? After all, how can a little band of metal that only covers a fraction of skin, confer protection over the entire body?

I dunno, maybe? I couldn't honestly say NEVER. Perhaps in some future, circumstances would "force" me to commit robberies to feed/support me and mine? I can only hope that if that day ever comes that there are people that pat me on the back and tell me its not my fault. I'm a victim of circumstance and am not accountable.
