Those were meant to be rhetorical questions used to illustrate my point that without government controls then everything would just be the wild, wild, West. With tapeworms on top. Admittedly I worded it poorly since a few posters took them as genuine questions.

Hmmm, by chance are you guys anti-vaxers too? What with that damn government forcing children to be inoculated against transmissible diseases in order to attend public schools. Im just trying to figure out how much or little effort to put into this discussion.

Thor: Ragnorak It was entertaining, but dare I say, a little too slapstick-y.

I understand that it sounds petty because it "children selling lemonade". But its no different than someone setting up a fruit/vegetable stall on the side of the road. Or a food truck. Or a hotdog stand. Hell, iirc, even block parties require permissions.

Being selling in a requires certain permissions. Not as QQ as punching babies in the face but rules is rules.

What did you do today?
Where I go fishing is only ~2 miles from my house but I would love waterfront or walking distance fishing access. I once had a place in Jacksonville where the entire neighborhood was only 8 houses on one street. At the end of the street there was a community shared pier that went about 100 feet out into the intercoastal. It had 8 boat slips and a deck at the end and every house in the neighborhood owned one of the slip and had use the deck. It was glorious. I fished almost every day after work and weekends.

I was planning on going fishing this morning. Got my fishing license last night and packed the poles/cast net/tackle box into the car so I could get a running start this morning and then woke up to rain. I don't want it bad enough to go stand in the rain.

General Celebrity deaths
I get 15 paid days off to use at will and an additional 14 paid days off for various holidays, per year. I never feel guilty but crap sure does pile up while Im gone. And its use-it-or-lose-it. If I could sell it back I would never take vacation. Now I just let it pile up until the last quarter of the year and take days off if it looks like its going to snow.

Au contraire. No, I hate organized religion. Imo, anything above tribalism is just organized control of the masses.

"You guys" are those who believe in a god. A sampling of other things that I casually dismiss, and those that believe in them are: Reptilians, yeti, Nessie, werewolves and vampires (but not reverse vampires, those are real). I don't really know how to respond to this. Go plant a fruit seed and come back in a few weeks. I feel that organized religion's were specifically designed to subjugate and control. Pfft, Alpha Centauri.

C'mon. One is used for entertainment, the other to rule the masses through fear, persecution, wars and death. Totes equivalent huh? What the what? Why we exist? I don't really care "why" but Ill go with a fortuitous sequence of events and biology. NOT that some omnipotent being created us for the lulz. However I am willing to accept ANY, and I mean ANY, physical proof that I can see or touch. Can you hook a brother up? Other "important documents" throughout history show many gods so maybe you guys should believe those hokum. Spread out your gods a bit so you don't get stuck with the butthurt god that punishes you to eternal torment for not following his "word".
