  1. Well... I'll be pur-chasing a lens cleaner dealy tomorrow. I'm a little hesitant to open my Susan up.
  2. Lets not forget Ultima 9, the Ultima of the millennium!
  3. Oh Bill. You slay me.
  4. My xbox is now asthmatic, it often wheezes, the dust crippling my much needed relaxation period! Is there any way, any form of maintenance or resuscitation that may improve my quality of life? How do I clean this damn thing!?
  5. So!?!? You're a feisty young man aren't you? As has already been said by Wastl, KOTOR's engine wasn't capable of the snazzy robes TSL sported. It's over analysis on your part, it doesn't really have a detrimental impact on the game either, does it?
  6. Gary Numan - Cars ... Oh Gary.
  7. The Arcade Fire - Une ann
  8. Omikron: The Nomad Soul offered a bizarre sex scene with another mans wife early on into the proceedings. In retrospect it was pretty silly but when I was 14 it was confusing... and strangely compelling.
  9. Its a classic tough guy, military man facade ala Steven Seagal.
  10. I hit 20 last Saturday. Tis all downhill from now on, I'm already beginning to sag.
  11. Yeah, it's a pretty odd game, with plenty of sex appeal on offer. Oh, those French and their burning loins! When will they learn? Looking forward to Fahrenheit though.
  12. I'm guessing your german considering that i didn't understand "Gott Im Himmel?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually no, ich bin english. And all the choices have there distinctive perks. For some (nomad soul) it's a nostalgic treat, for others it's the sheer size and overall wonderfulnessness (Deus Ex). As for Jade Empire and TSL they’re both very current enjoyable games, enthralling RPGs despite their many awkward... quirks. I was going to throw some more names into the mix also, perhaps Shenmue I or II, Arcanum, Baldur's Gate II + TOB.
  13. It is a game with many fine strokes of genius-...ness. Being reprimanded by Paul for killing on Liberty Island To which I responded with a 'Gott im Himmel?' But the others have their charms also.
  14. Well actually these are all games I already own and have completed. I've not played any of them in a long while though. Years in the case of Deus Ex and Nomad Soul.
  15. Omikron: The Nomad Soul starring the David Bowie as Boz! Its an ambitious but flawed (and silly) game, made a few years ago by Quantic Dream. A sequel is in the works apparently. http://pc.ign.com/articles/160/160509p1.html
  16. Hows about a nice slice of self-indulgence for you all. I'll soon have a good two weeks of free time available before the next university year (yay) meaning games will have to be played compulsively, as if the welfare of my critically acclaimed (or not, as the case may be... or is) genitalia depended on it (its an unwritten rule, a footnote in the bible if thats your bag). And so I ask your help. Which of the above time sponges would you covet like it had never been coveted before?
  17. You never cease to amaze me.
  18. Plot floors? A term I've never heard of. Do you mean flaws?
  19. Good choice! Baldur's Gate 2: SOA\TOB Deus Ex Final Fantasy VII Grim Fandango In Cold Blood (a controversial choice I'm sure, but what can I say... I genuinely enjoyed it) Planescape: Torment Shenmue II
  20. Just began Morrowind yet again as an Imperial 'Legionnaire' type, should keep me occupied for a good few years or so. Its such a difficult game to begin though, the sheer size seems daunting. I just need to persevere I suppose.
  21. Open to interpretation I suppose. Myself? I thought Sidious was holding back, so to speak. He wanted to force Anakin into action, into choosing a path. He clearly wasn't spent, as soon as the choice was made Palps zapped Shaft out of the windu. ... Jesus, that scene was awful to watch. It felt so awkward.
  22. Thats all I ever hear from you these days. Leave Revan be, he's overrated.
  23. I'm indifferent. What best serves the sequels plot is what matters most. If that means we never again see the exile or Revan then so be it.
  24. "REMEMBER: Gun's Don't kill people, its just that certain noise they make..."
  25. I don't think it's feasible that either the exile or Revan will return in any major capacity. There are too many variables in the mix. Customizable aspects, PC levels and the like... but also the characters themselves, characters we defined through our own choices. The only comfortable approach I can think of is the one TSL took, merely hearing of the characters and their fates, never actually encountering them. Though that may not satisfy some. As much as I love TSL it has buggered a potential sequel. Buggered it like a heron.
