  1. I dont have anything against body hair on women, most of my female aquintances are non-shavers and thats just fine. The only detriment is that an abundance of hairgrowth in the southern regions may have a negative impact on cunnilingus.
  2. If I could vote, Id vote for the guy A) isnt republican and B) has the biggest chance to win... unless I was to become a billionaire before 2008, then itd be stupid not to vote republican.
  3. I dont quite know yet, I was toying with the idea of running smaller sessions with perhaps 1-2 players when those players would be available and then get together for proper sessions once a week or so. The proper sessions could be weekdays after 1800 GMT, and with an earlier start on weekends maybe 1400 GMT
  4. "I live in a world of cold steel, and dungeons, and mighty foes." :D
  5. It all depends on the shape of the skull... p.s and I have long hair to my nipples and a moustasch and a beard.
  6. Are you plaing that old map again?
  7. Pheh. We Swedes just put two dots over the A to get our sweet
  8. White wolf's website is finally working so here is their Requiem info with Quickstart, Clan info etc. http://www.white-wolf.com/vampire/index.php?line=intro
  9. If anyone wants to read up on Vampire: Requiem then drop me a PM and Ill send you all the info Ive got. Even though I would modify it somewhat, Requiem is much, much closer to my idea than VtM and it might help you to get into the darker(not depressing though) mood of this chronicle. But you dont have to, you can just make up a character concept(human or vampire) and I will select clan and make up stats for you. The game will be set in a contemporary fictional city roughly the size of New York.
  10. In Requiem and my variant, they are called "Malkovians" and they are not a clan but a smaller, barely 100 year old, bloodline from the Ventrue clan. They share their predecessors weakness that they all suffer from mental ilness, but its much more subdued than in VtM. A malkovians insanity is a quiet thing, they are not raving, gibbering lunatics but appear quite ordinary. Most of them try their best to blend in with the rest of kindred societym often posing as Ventrue. And there is no mysticism to their madness, they have no clairvoyance, no second sight, no guiding voices.. they are just mad, plain and simple.
  11. My take on the Nosferatu would be only a slight variation of the Requiem variant, they are no longer hideous monsters who crawl through the sewers and gather information. Instead they are as any other clan, living in the open with no loyalties or duties to their clan. They are no longer hideous monsters(with rotting faces and bugs living in their armpits), merely inhuman and corpselike in appearance with hairless, pale skin. Like the aliens from Dark City or Klaus Kinski in the 70's colour version of "nosferatu"
  12. I have this weird thing, my brain wont see short haired women as women. They have to have atleast to the right below the ear or I find myself completely unable to be attracted to them. So long hair for me plz.
  13. Ive been playing with this idea for a second Vampire game on a more Euro-friendly schedual. I didnt wan to GM any game before but now I feel much more up to it for some reason. It would be a much darker story, set in a single massive city. It would also follow my own views on what the WoD should be like, no other supernaturals except vampires, only a handful of clans, no antediluvians or gehenna lurking around the corner and so on.. in short it would be a Vampire: Requiem with slight modifications. Would anyone be interested?
  14. Tying the story into the characters backgrounds is a good way to achieve deeper immersion, continuing and having the events of previous sessions/adventures tie into new ones is also very good because it gives a feeling of continuity and realism. but there are problems: 1) You might get it wrong- only the player really knows his character's past and as a GM its easy to step on the 'toes of his imagination'. I remember well how it felt when my GM portrayed a key character from my PC's past as a complete b*tch, which she definently wasnt in my mind. Its very hard for a player to describe his PC's background in such detail and with such feeling that the GM can do it justice in a story. 2) Some character concepts exist only in the now- I do this often, I build a completed character on pure feeling, where the backstory is really inconsequential. I view characters as roles in a film, you dont need to know if his father was a mormon if youve already got the feeling for how this character acts and behaves.

  20. A router, you know one of these boxes that let you share an internet connection among several computers.
  21. Are you connected straight or do you have a router in your house/apartment? Restart it. And dont forget to add mIRC to "exceptions" under the windows firewall settings. This problem also happens when trying to connect to the wrong port so make sure you are using 6667 and not 667
  22. There is nothing wrong with the server so it must be something in your end. What is the precise error message you get? You havent forgot to set the port to 6667 maybe?
  23. Processors arent that important for gaming, I have a 2gHz AMD 64 "Venice" and that will do all I want it to. Its all about the GPU ..and the RAM and I think the big deal with the FX vs. Regular 64 props are the
