The core of a CRPG lies in the ability for the players to roleplay his character within a story, which means multiple dialogue choices and ways to handle quests. Thats the essential part to which all other characteristics are secondary. Diablo, Dungeon Siege etc. are more like computerized version of tabletop games like HeroQuest or Talisman

I hate Diablo, if it hadnt come, we wouldnt have this sea of insanely bad Hack n Slash, pseudo-RPG's that the CRPG market consists of to 90% today

I have real trouble understanding people with accents sometimes I wonder if thats because people who speak in accents and dialects have misdeveloped brains? It is awkward to have to ask a person to repeat themselves three times or more. Ive tried pretending to understand them and just go "yes" and smile, but that gets awkward too if they dont buy it

I was thinking bout that, it doesnt really make sense to reveal the orders of players. I would more realistic if you could oly see the rsults of orders, not the orders themselves

To get back on topic, how would you feel about having a separate IRC channel on the side to keep the OOC/casual spam chat from cluttering the main channel? There was also some confusion about what is OOC- its things that are not game related like saying that you have to go to the bathroom, saying that Jags is a jackass and general spamming Declkaring actions, asking about rules, wondering if the prince is wearing a green shirt etc. is game related and shouldnt be said OOC. OF course, when your character speaks you use quotation marks " "

I think the main playing advantage of online PnP RPG is the immersion and acting potential. We cant see eachother so when we speak as our character, that is who we imagine is speaking. So its actually more roleplaying that what is possible if you sit everyone together in your GM's livingroom.

I see, it must be my faulty memory again. I shall do all I can to get treatment against it, brother. And that same session contained another event that now is unexistant. A person might have mentioned something about another person lacking a reflection, this never happened and even if it did happen, there is a certain supernatural flaw on in the Guide to the Camarilla that explains it quite nicely.
