  1. I think we should just hang pirates like we did in the old days.
  2. Well two of the 360 reviews are in at Eurogamer. PGR got 8/10 Kameo got 5/10 Reviewer prefered Mario Kart DS to PGR
  3. Goth chicks are interesting.
  4. No where near enough to warrant
  5. Goth chicks love the pasty. The closer you look to dead the more chance you have to score :D So rule 1 would have to be. Know your quarry.
  6. I never really liked Myst. I remember going over a friends house and being shown 7th guest and then spending the afternoon solving the puzzles. Puzzles are ok but if there is one thing that totally lacks any sort of replay value it's a puzzle. Last puzzle game I played would be twin memory on the DS. Although I wouldnt call them puzzles as much as diversions.
  7. It's released on friday over here.
  8. I'm not sure but he may be refering to the "happiness" training. At the moment I have this group. Espeon Houndour Nuzleaf Spinarak (only tempory while purifying) Numel (same) Tediursa They gave things some really whacky movesets in XD but I need a good ground type numel is too slow and Baltoy is part psychic which I dont really need with Espeon around. The poll definately worked though because the battles are totally different than they were with Jolteon.
  9. Actually I really like the two weapon thing. It gives the game a wonderful flowing sense. Shoot your weapon till you empty it, switch to the backup roll across the room , pick up the weapon of the person you just killed and continue. Rather than hide behind crate, cycle through 10 different weapons (each with sub weapons) till you get the one you want then pop up and shoot. Shin Megami had some killer puzzles. The three fates one was fun although if you didnt know the fates it's going to drive you crazy. Not only did you have to walk the correct path, but you had to kill the fates in the correct order too otherwise they would just flee and respawn. Develpers used to be the "enemy" it was their goal to make the player suffer while playing (entertainment was just aq byproduct). In one of the old adventure games it used to say something like "The developers are laughing at you" after you failed a puzzle X number of times. With games now being more casual entertainment , the adversarial nature isnt so apparent.
  10. Not unless they have lots and lots of cash. It's simply more cost effective for high quality console graphics than high quality PC graphics. Plus you have to wonder if it's worth forking out all that money these days when your only getting a handful of games a year of note.
  11. I was just reading one of the faulty 360 threads. Makes me even more in favour of releasing stuff in Japan first so it can get a proper test :D
  12. I blame PC developers. I got so fed up of jumping through hoops just to make something I'd just paid for work I ceased to care. Paying
  13. Same could be said for the existence of god. Actually humans are capable of both great wisdom and great folly (probably in equal measure). Don't see it as any worse than believing you are infallible by proxy quite frankly.
  14. As businesses they stock what sells. It's completely daft to expect a business to be loyal to a product that isnt selling when all they do is sell things. It's like the gamecube, you can't buy gamecube stuff here in most non game stores. They dont hate Nintendo (obvious since there are shelves full of GBA and DS) but the GC stuff dosnt sell, so they stop stocking it.
  15. Wow Calax thats incredibly profound.
  16. You say that like thinking is a bad thing. Ok I'm going to be blunt here. What your experiencing is the loss of your "blankie" Which is why you feel lost. You have been brought up in a particular way and now your experiencing things that force you to look beyond that into something new. You can fear it, or you can see it as the begining of a new and exiting chapter in your life where you get to do your own thing as your own person. Rather than as the child of others.
  17. If you sneeze while picking your nose it can force your finger into your brain and kill you.
  18. Is it sneezing or picking it's nose ?
  19. Funniest thing I saw was a picture with an add Dreamcast II available from tommorow. Made me laugh anyway. For the most part anyone not impressed by pretty pictures has been a tad underwhelmed. I think they jumped the gun on the release, plenty of life still left in this generation.
  20. So you still believe in the existence of god(s) but you have lost faith in how the church is supposed to bring you closer to them ? Wouldnt worry about it. Thats why people make up all these alternate religions (it's called having your cake and eating it). Think of it as them failing you rather than you failing them , it will make you feel better.
  21. She's a muslim.
  22. They probably teach a version that emphasises certain elements over others. How long is the course ?
  23. No. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I'm planning on doing if the relationship ends up going that far. Also, I'll continue on with my current plans, as I was planning on studying Psychology before moving on to Seminary, as Pastoral Counseling is a large part of a Minister's work. Even if things do end up going that far, I'll still have a viable trade, that will pretty much always be around as long as humans continue to be the screwed up buggers they are. Also, I tend to plan ahead to a rather extreme extent. Even before I met this girl, as soon as I got a job, I was planning on tucking away money for a wedding ring/noneymoon from my paycheck every month (College Students/Pastors don't tend to have lucrative financial means, and modern dowries are 'spensive). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Psychology will cure you of any last vestiges of religion.
  24. In Norway they demanded you sell the lot on pre order or you couldnt have any. The allocations for Europe are a joke if they don't sell those out it's time to cry. Any interest I had, which wasnt much granted. Slipped away with all the titles into the middle of next year. Theres an ok piece over a Eurogamer about their hands on. It's a bit gushy but other than that not too bad.
  25. In the US 150 something in Europe and 12 in Japan. Didnt know they were BC by region did you
