    Where did he announce that? Last night during #ObsidianPlays. Except now they're saying it's the demo from E3, which I think is old news? I thought they were going to stream previously unseen gameplay.

    Next to nil for blu-ray on Prime Day, although we did upgrade the main display to 4K. Also watched the All-Star Game. Was fun, and invigorating to see Tony Gwynn permanently affixed to the National League Batting Championship. The opposite of the feeling of shame is rare when your community has completed a singular eternity of professional seasons without winning.

    That is unreal and amazing. I don't surf but I can camp like an agnostic Eagle Scout trained by the USMC. If only to see the Torrey Pines of Santa Rosa before the decade is out.

    The Torrey Pine is a local icon, thought by most to be unique. I never knew Santa Rosa is the only other place in the world where it grows. I must visit. Also, this is awesome:

    There is no getting used to it. Once in awhile I bail for the Birmingham exit, stop at VG's in Cardiff--the best donuts in the county--and finish the commute up the coast highway through Encinitas, Leucadia, Carlsbad, and finally South O'. Takes twice as long to get home, but, ocean. And donuts. Very Good donuts.

    Their Tangerine IPA is one of the better beers I've tasted. I tasted a six-pack just to be sure.

    Just installed a retractable screen door like a world champion carpenter, hacksaw, cordless drill, the whole bit. Airflow capacity has been quintupled. In fact it's so cold in here now I might have to break out the space heater.

    Will give this backwards compatibility thing a whirl. Red Dead Redemption on Xbox One. Which is fitting, the hard drive on my Xbox is a ghost town. Just Batman and Lara. And Master Chief. *okay well that was weird. Playing a backcompat game requires you to re-setup your network and re-login to your account even if you're already currently online and logged in to your XB1 account. Retro fashion, the same exact Xbox 360 graphic UI comes up. The game works fine, except you have to assume which new button is the old Start button, and there's a strange hum through the headphones. Not sure how viable this avenue of nostalgia is.

    He is literally sleeping with the fishes. Also, his Force of Anguish knock-back attack is the only reason my priest prevailed against the minions of Concelhaut. Steelspine Magus ... I hate them.

    To be fair I read 'dessert' multiple times. I could see a gourmet ice cream truck parked in front. Today was a simple turkey and jalapeño sandwich day, irrespective of Taco Tuesday.
