An early report that someone flashed a 290 into a full 290X. I didn't read the link, cause I'm starting to lose faith in compiler monkeys. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a rise in misinterpretation and a general confusion with news, opinion, and speculation all being equal. That would be cool, though, to save some cash and watts over a full-priced GPU and get the same performance.

Almost Human. I only saw the last half-hour, but there is good chemistry between Karl Urban's character and his android partner! I better look him up so I know of whom I speak. Michael Ealy, as Dorian. And a surprise role from the guy who played the pirate zombie with the wooden eyeball in Pirates of the Caribbean. Definitely will be tuning in tomorrow night for part two of the premiere.

Losing faith in organized competition. Three straight Chargers losses, Ferrari hasn't won a race for what seems like five years, Rory McIlroy completely blanked in 2013, and the Olympics are taking place in a frozen backwater trailer park in the Motherland. I swear to god if we don't deliver some seriously honest, clock-beating, judge-wowing golden goods in Sochi, I will give up completely, learn to crochet, move to Liechtenstein and start going to bed at 3:30pm right after ************* bingo.

That time you wake up with such a smug sense of self-satisfaction that you feel almost guilty, but then look over and notice how
beautiful she isreal it is and remember how distinctly attractive was theintimacyresolution of the night before. You think, hmm, maybe I should give thisgirl and her friendnew console a commitment from deep within myself. At least, maybe right after breakfast. -
I ... would almost trade-in today's PS4 parcel post for a gropey three-girl dilemma. Almost.
Nevertheless, today I have to get a gift card for a buddy's b-day, then pick up a print copy of Game Informer magazine with the new Shadows of Mordor RPG on the cover, and then come home and power-down the Xbox to make room under the TV for the new Sony console. Looking forward to some pirates and gold acquisition this weekend.

I would think they mean in general terms, the highest number of injuries. Your average Joe Office probably doesn't 'put their back into it' for much of anything, or use the proper technique when attempting to. Until moving day, then I imagine those muscle groups buckle in a hurry, while the spinal column becomes a free-floating shock-absorber with no rebound and painful compression.

Oh, holy balls! I remember eating chicken hearts on a stick at a Brasilian restaurant. Very small, and slightly sweet. The cheesy bread was much better ... they were little balls of cheese-infused bread with a proper name, but I forget.

Learned a new word today - rapproachment.
Thanks Wals!
I like that it resembles 'rapport'. Odd that 'ro' and 'or' are switched.
Is eating hearts common? I'm afraid that sounds as enticing as bloody oyster-shooters. I need some broccoli to wash out my eyes.

News, not opinions, lord.

Someone please moderate this back on topic.
PS4 System Software Update 1.5 is already live and available for download. It's an 860MB file, so if you're like me and don't have gigabit internet, get a flash drive and load it up in advance of Friday's rush.
Edit: There are two versions of 1.5 ... the big 860MB one for if you're installing system software to a new hard drive, and a smaller 308MB file for simply updating the PS4 out of the box.

Of course, Tali mentions her sweat, in dialogue, at the get-together party pad DLC at the end of ME3. So if it was trolling, it was the homerun of trolling.

This sounds ten times more interesting. I can't think of a better way to get people to replay the game.

There are a lot of unique weapons and the player can add enchantments.
Puh-pow!! CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY

This game ... will kick ass. All night, Friday night. hhunnnnnnggh!!

My wife wants to get an Audi or a BMW but I'm not a big fan
Porsche and Land Rover are the go to midlife-crisis-and/or-douchebag-mobiles here in Denver
I have a hybrid but I refuse to eat soy paste and wear birkenstocks*
*unless they are certified organic, sustainably grown, cruelty free, and ethically made
Oh god it's happening!
If you'd bought a Prius, I would be worried about impending hippie doom, but that Q50 is a frickin manly hybrid.
Today I scored a free PS4 game after buying two others in a blue-tinged bloodbath online. One of the games, Lego Marvel Super Heroes became 'out-of-stock' in the intervening seconds between Add To Cart and Proceed to Checkout. Killzone Shadowfall and Assassin's Creed IV will be here Thursday.

Tom is absolutely the business and I would think to post of him in the HAM thread (get it, ham) but troll-feeding is annoying and makes me itchy and irksome.

K column ... the K Column is almost upon us! Oh how long have we waited for values to be added to the K COLUMN!!
Thanks for the update!

Night trucking, that sounds good. And now that I don't watch stupid football anymore, Sundays just became free, so I'll have plenty of time to deliver a good long trucking trucked up truck.

Officially confirmed. Amazon will offer Buy Two, Get One Free, Playstation 4 games beginning Tuesday 9am-1pm PST.

San Diego loses to Washington and then Minnesota beats the Redskins ... if this bizarro world thing continues, please can Denver lose big on Sunday, kthx.
No, wait, nevermind ... hollow victories are even worse than crushing defeats at Little Big Horn. I'm addicted to NFL disappointment, anyway, so please, Peyton, throw 8 touchdowns and no interceptions at Qualcomm, kthx.

Why exactly would 'oby' misspell 'Lockheed'? You've got the spelling right in front of you.
Tralt fail.
No, it's real. Russia mocks our military air control because we stole their super secret spy plane in 1982. True story.

Er, uh ... if the flu virus stays alive on banknotes for 17 days ...

FIVE CHILDREN ON AVERAGE??!!
Oh, birth control now, thank god. Or ... wait, when did China enact the one-child thing ...
I only got 3/9. A British chimp isn't the worst thing to be.

Having more fun than I thought with the fourth edition of Assassin's Creed on the fourth version of the Playstation. The Caribbean jungles look as good as the Far Cry 3 jungles on my 7850 PC. I've never played an AC game before, but it's turning out to be fun. I was afraid it would be too much on rails, but the pace feels good and open enough, at least after the first chapter. Sound design is particularly good, too.
Killzone: Shadowfall, on the other hand, looks bonkers, too, but isn't as fun as I'd hoped. I'm glad I bought it, but maybe I'm just not that into straight shooters. Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be here tomorrow ... pretty excited for that after all the positive reviews.
