Oh, okay, that explains the lack of afternoon rush-hour today. The Navy and Marines stayed home today, too, probably. It was clear sailing, all the way from Del Mar to Oceanside, on a weekday ... I thought aliens had finally landed and abducted 100,000 drivers off the 5, just so I could make the distance without stopping, for once. Thanks aliens.

Guess the release date!

I expect to re-gift this game to myself for Valentine's Day. Oh, me. -
Canadian Thanksgiving, in October ... why, what happened. Did the Native North Americans save them from the cold, and the French--no, that can only be half right. It has something do with ham being disguised as round, flat bacon, doesn't it. Is it hockey? Canadians give thanks every year for the start of hockey season, it must be.

La neuvième art (comics you've been reading)

Favorite announcement so far from NYCC, Wonder Woman '77 digital comic, with a paper trade early next year, featuring the likeness of the original all-natural-super-babe-still-mega-hot to this day, Lynda Carter. Awesome. Art by Nicola Scott -
Ooh, what a treat, I wish I could watch S4 of TWD again for the first time. Some very satisfying series arcs and loose ends tied neatly. The best thing the show does, as a whole, just as they do in The Last of Us game, is make you stop and think, god this could really be the way humanity ends. So many other PA venues just don't achieve that sense of curious true belief. Merle's redemption in S3 was the most fun and anguish I've invested in a character since, I don't even know when. The episode that defines the fourth season--and you'll know it the instant you watch--is on another level of compelling storytelling. I was literally found dumb for hours.

The Assassin's Guild questline gives you a badass black horse with glowing red eyes. If that's not enough, the vampire DLC gets you a summonable blue lightning demon horse.

Incredible stunt work, too. Ragdoll human antics never look believable, but this one was crazy good. I would buy the season on blu-ray just to see how they did it.

It's on again tonight, after the premiere of Arrow.

The PS4 at least, uses the system memory. 8GB of fairly speedy GDDR5. How much of that 8GB gets used as vRAM, I'm not sure, probably not more than one or two or three.

Nice, thank you, CW, for not debuting The Flash in the same time slot as SHIELD. I am absolutely fine with Tuesday being comic book TV day. Win on Tuesday, sell on Wednesday, isn't that how it goes.

I don't feel different, but I look a lot better. Actually, yes I do feel, maybe not different, but a greater sense of community, since it is rare to meet people who also like the same little specific nerd things I do.

Oh hmm, that watch looks exactly right. I would like one, to wear underneath my wrist so I can talk to it like they do in the movies, but I'm strapped to an iOS device.

The bag rule is also in effect down here in our state-of-the-art 1960s luxury bowl. SD routinely welcomes SF refugees ... come south, it's nice.

I always knew I had supra-human olfactory sensitivity, but now that the menthol smoke has cleared, I can literally smell the sesame seeds being sprinkled on the beef broccoli at the Chinese restaurant across the street behind the mall two blocks down from the gas station. Quitting smoking beats the pants off of being born again by jesus.

An undrafted rookie gets almost 200 yards in offense, including two touchdowns, Branden Oliver. Guaranteed Chargers Facebook nuts are photoshopping the Guardians of the Galaxy "Who?!" meme ... they look exactly the same. Oliver keeps attributing his success to someone named Godd ... not sure who that is, probably an agent.

Aww jeez, Vettel to Ferrari, Alonso to McLaren, no more di Montezemolo ... I don't know whether to fold the colors for good or imitate a classic Latin temperament meltdown. Maybe put on some dark Enzo glasses and imperiously berate anyone within reach as though they and their children are solely responsible for this catastrophe. Really doesn't matter, though, in the wake of Bianchi's head injury, christ I hope the guy recovers. Get well, Jules.

Delayed to early 2015
ManifestedISO replied to C2B's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
That is remarkably similar to the business I work in: As a customer, you can have your product made well, made inexpensively, or made quickly ... only two out of three are possible. -
Hey, we eat plates of bacon for breakfast, and put the month in front of the day, it's how we like it.

That's exactly what I thought you said earlier, so I did get it But that has nothing to do with this being a joke "rant" and that is what I was explaining to Qistina, she mustn't think this is a legitimate rant. Qistina's a dude, the exact same dude as Darth Deven.

That's so weird, I just quit DUMB a week ago.

I think his publisher and Amazon are fighting over distribution, so AFiT may be delayed.

Maybe not Native Americans, but Native Arctic Circuleans. Arctic Circlish. Circladeans. Circlii. Northerners.

Did you finish the other waiting game, for the 2 Series xDrive.

It does look like a mandrake. The screaming Harry Potter creature. Edit: Being called adorkable is high praise, I say.
