What does the OP mean when saying Obsidian gave a Black Isle for free? This post seems to assume information that not everyone is privy to. Black Isle is still out of business, to the best of my knowledge.

I've come to really enjoy Justin's music, though I haven't heard the Tyranny music yet. What I do find somewhat ironic is very light use of bells in his arrangements. Ba dum tss! I'm here all week.

This thread has never been the duration of time a poster is allowed to edit their post. It's about the fact that those edits are immediately recorded as having happened, even when they happen within mere seconds of the original post having been submitted. Like, to correct a simple typo. I've been asking for the last 2 1/2 years for a lightening of this policy, or at least an explanation why it exists. I've never seen another message board implement something like this. Why not give us a minute or two, at least, before permanently memorializing such last minute tweaks? It's utterly useless information, that this forum seems intent on hanging onto. Let it go Obsidian forum administrator. Just let it go....

EDIT JUSTIFICATION: I REALIZED THAT I FORGOT TO PUT AN APOSTROPHE AFTER THE WORD FORUMS. I've been trying to watch this after the fact this link: https://www.twitch.tv/obsidian/v/104469198 The progress wheel just spins endlessly and the video never plays. It seems like most of the time when I try to use Twitch I leave disappointed. I have no idea how this site became so popular. Guess I'll wait for the YouTube version, which will, undoubtedly, actually work.

Wait. You expected your mods to just "work"? Apparently you're new to how modding in BG works. Most if not all of those mods are going to have to be updated by the modders to work with Siege of Dragonspear. This is no different than what happened with the Enhanced Edition releases. Like Cadegund maybe? If you didn't follow the Kickstarter campaign for PoE, originally a cute blonde priestess wearing heavy armor was planned to be part of the game. Apparently MCA didn't feel inspired by this character, so he created Durance as a replacement when he wrote the priest companion for the game. I have Cadegund on my PoE mousepad, so I see her everyday, and I definitely lament the lack of her in PoE. I've heard tell that she has her supporters within Obsidian, and may yet show up in a future title.

I'm so going to hate gaming when this is the case.

That's good to hear (read). It is rather confusing though that the Stronghold log indicates that he is currently at the stronghold and will leave after a certain number of days. So if this isn't a bug, it's certainly an opportunity for clearer explanation. Something that says "issue resolution is in progress" or an indication of "will return to keep after his work in concluded" would be much better than a notice that makes players think he's still lurking around the keep somewhere. But your note is quite helpful. Thanks.

As a I recall Azzuro used to sell you items, like the very nice Hiro's Mantle. In my current game, which includes both expansions, when Azzuro arrived at my keep he had a problem which I paid a hefty 5,000 copper to help him address. After I did this he disappeared, but according the stronghold interface he's going to be at my keep for around a week. But, he's not there. He just took my 5k and disappeared and I've had no opportunity to purchase anything from him. Seems like a bug to me, so I'm sharing this so that it can be looked into.

Oh come on man. I was just playing around. I'm not sure how this translates to me "shutting down" your thread. Certainly didn't mean to knock the wind out of your sails. EDIT Actually on topic, I hope that Obsidian will get to do a follow up to New Vegas, because I think that would be great for the studio. I don't really play FPS type games myself, but I can still appreciate how this would be great for Obsidian overall. Personally, I'm hoping to see a lot of CRPGs developed using the "PoE engine" (I'm not sure that is technically a thing, hence the quotes) in the coming years.
