Actually u do. they r on Yavin station. However u must go there 3 times. The third time you go, trandoshans attack, and u must save the dealer (the rodian chap). He then offers extra items to sell. These special crystals are called Mantle of the Force and Heart of the Guardian. They cost upwards of 20000 credits, but r worth it as they improve the attack of ur saber, and r quite an improvement for ur lightsaber. (they go in the colour slot of ur saber, not the other 2)

HMMMMMMM Not a bad idea. I dont know about the healing bit, i never heard of lighsaber/sabercrystals that can heal the user, and most would problably already hav the force power of it, but the bonuses to ur class would be good. They would just need 2 b careful not to make the bonuses absurdly high as to make ur character almost unbeatable. Not a bad idea at all.

This topic has been throughly discussed. Use the search function in future. His/Her face will most likely be obscured by a hood or mask, so as not to break the fantasy of Revan being your personnel character.

I hav today thought of perhaps another reason for the USA Xbox release in december and the international release in february. The Xbox USA version gets released in december, in time for the christmas rush. This=Lots o Money The international release is february. I happen 2 know that Star Wars Episode 3-Revenge of the Sith, is released in early 2005, which could be anywhere between January 1st and March 31st. With the hype over the movie, more people buy Star Wars game (inculding KOTOR2, which will be released around the same time). This=Lots more Money. It makes sense dont it.

This (i beleive) has been discussed before, but i will make my opinion heard. 1)He saves u from a Sith Lord, but gets killed in the process. He sacrifices himself to save you. (if Revan is ls) 2)He continues to aid u, and eventually becomes a memeber of the jedi council (if Revan is ls) 3)He reclaims the mantle of Sith Lord, with you as his new apprentice (if Revan is ds) 4)He gets mortally wounded in a battle against one of the sith lords, and names you the succesor to the mantle of Sith Lord, and makes you swear vengeance for him, againmst the sith lord that killed him (If Revan is ds) A few ideas from me. Same here. I hav said that numerous times, at least we dont hav to wait until march and beyond, and that a polished game is better than a buggy one, no matter how good the game is. Besides, at least we will get it in the end, and when i do get KOTOR2, u wont see me here for a longo time.

I am one who absolutely loves the story of Revan and Revan as a character. In case u aint noticed, i am one who has posted at least 3 threads speculating about Revan, and his role in KOTOR2.

I guessed that. Anyway, i did that today (redeem Yuthura), wasnt much to it if u hav a high enough persuade skill, and isnt really all that impressive. The only real difference is that all the sith in the academy will attack u when u get back there, so a little extra exp points there at least.

If u talk to Yuthura (the purple twilek sith on korriban) enough, she becomes ur friend. After fighting in the tomb of Naga Sadow and meating up with Yuthura and Uthar (the sith master of the academy), if u betray Uthar, u must kill him, then once he is dead, u must face off against Yuthura, once she is beaten, talk to her, and she can be redeemed if the right dialogue choices are picked (2 hav a good chance to do this, u must hav a persuade skill of at least 4. And Bastila will most likely be back (if Revan is in there, it is only logical Bastila will be as well due to the bond that they share)

Well said indeed. None can put it better. I also understand. (i know i had extreme veiws at first, but then i calmed down) Calm down, and then realise, that at least we do not hav to wait until after feb 2005.

Ive said it before... I can wait that extra couple o months to get it on PC. I doubt many will buy an Xbox just for one or two good games on it. Me being one of those. If u think about it, 2 months aint that long a wait, at least it aint been pushed back until after feb, into march and beyond, so lets be thankful for that.

Somehow, i doubt this petition will work. The release dates hav been chosen, just accept it. I hav (ater i vented my rage) (i am still angry about LA lying about release dates) and no amount of petitions will change those dates. I am sure, that despite still being angry, many hav now accepted the release dates, but are still showing there anger at LA lies. We are mere commoners, the almighty Darth Lucas and his Master, Emperor Bill Gates, will not be swayed by a bunch of petitions.

Nope. The pace of play would be 2 slow. Bounty Hunters r known for speed and quickness. I do not think it would work.

Perhaps, Bastila's lightsaber (the single one in the flashback) was lost or destroyed when Malak opened fire. However unlikely it is, it seems (to me) the most likely scenario. Then she built a new saber, which became her double bladed lightsaber. Bastila will only hav been level 3 because a)she is only a jedi padawan, and was most likely only in the assault team because that is what helped them get onto Revan's ship b)if u hav a level 8+ chracter that early in the game, the whole game will become unbalanced, and much to easy to complete

Agreed. I do not condone piracy. i won't illegally aqurie a copy of anything, games, dvds, u name it. The release date controversy is LA fault, not Obsidians.

I am getting that DVD trilogy no matter what. Mainly because, I am a Star Wars Fanatic, as well as a KOTORFanatic, but also because my VHS trilogy has become degraded and veiwing quality is poor on all 3 tapes.

This is the exact same problem i hav, it will be hard to resist coming here when the game hits Xbox dec 2004, and spoilers are placed about the place. To the Moderators, create a special forum for those Xboxers who get KOTOR2 aroud Christmas, that way, they can talk about it, without us PCGamers and Europeans in general, reading spoliers for the game, (PC and Xbox)and who dont get KOTOR2 until feb 2005.

Though there is already a topic on this (i think)(might be styles of saber, colour etc), i will make my opinion heard as there are some original choices here. I would hav Revan's scorpion style from the flashbacks. It just looks to be the best stance i hav ever seen. Oh, and use the search function in future, u might find similar topics to this 1, dont know, but i am quite certain that there are. Still, the original choices to vote on do make this, at least partly, an original topic.

I will third Ivan and GhostofAnakin in the thank u Akari for that insider info. We now hav our explanation. I will also second what GhostofAnakin asked, why mention, and state numerous times, that a simultaneous release wuld happen if the Xbox version was already furthur ahead of development than the PC version. It is dumb to promise a simultaneous release if LA can't (or won't) deliver on it's promise. I accept that the PC version requires more bug testing etc, and i will wait for the PC version of KOTOR2 when it comes out in feb. We either ignore the spoilers, or dont turn up at all until we complete the game.
