  1. Like big hints about Ned and Jon in book one that already had me guess who were his parents.
  2. Having some basic firearms will add a little something to the game. It's always fun to see diversity, plus, depending how the mechanics work, it could also quite be an important point to look for during encounters. It add more layers to the required tactics. For exemple "Okay, these bandits have two firearms, I'll have to do X and Y to avoid injuries, I'll do this and that, use my "bullet Reflection spell" to protect my squeashy companion, okay...go!" As a very generic exemple.
  3. Just tugging on your leash, being teasing in a welcoming manner! Always glad to have more members join us and a Song of Ice and Fire fans are always welcomed in my book! (Sad how they changed so much in season 2 of the tv serie, when in the 1st season it was at 95% the same as the book.)
  4. As long you're albino, lonely, rejected from your pack, big and yet protective in your own wild way, it's okay!
  5. Well, if the weak-spells have a cooldown it'll allow your mage to at least be useful to something if you keep your stronger ones for a boss fight or a mid-quest big fight. If they go with such a system, then I can only see that specific places should be used for rest, including inns, our house and stronghold.
  6. Look at that, I don't look at this topic for a full day and we're at 25 pages... You silly flooders!
  7. Priest or paladin, it'll depends of the spells and abilities. I'll probably enjoy learning more about the whole spirits/souls/prayer system.
  8. Perhaps it was lsot in the dozens of posts talking about health/stamina, but I haven't seen a topic dedicated about the resting/restoration system. I think that a system where you can rest everywhere like in BG makes it too easy at times. You jsut unleash -all- your spells and then take a quick nap in the middle of the dungeon, ready for your next encounter. Something I liked were the fire pyres in Dark Souls. Granted, that game is ahrdcore, but since PE is related a lot to souls, perhaps there are special places that help restore one's energy. Magic is also prettymunch linked to you own soul's energy, thus, these specific places could be used to recharge your soul. It could even be a place where you can communicate with souls of the deceased or some other ideas like that since such places would be closer to the spirit world. Like places over the world where the layer between these "planes" are thinner.
  9. That sir, is because you did not know the trick of stacking Cloud Kill from wands/spells while being in the "fog of war".
  10. Ah, Infinity Engine games, gotcha. Edit: Thanks for also precising my mind at the same time bobobo.
  11. Why not a gemmed soul, a trapped companion, a soul of someone who's unable to pass or just some sort of sentient rock-like floating being. A bit like Ion stones, Psy Crystals and Mr. Polyphemus.
  12. 15 for now, maybe 16 if the FB page Likes go up to 40 000. https://www.facebook.com/obsidian?fref=ts
  13. So hurry up and join the fun before they close the PayPal option! The more the merrier. We're no elites, we're fans and friends, we're a group, a community, we love (like) you all! Did I say that right Foreign Advisors and diplomate brethrens?
  14. Wear the pieces to get the other pieces uh? Interesting concept. Might have some people stick longer with a "lower level" gear just to finish their set.
  15. Me wants. Or something like this, So, dogs have been pretty much done to death in games, it's time the feline race had some love. Besides, I also have 2 cats, and they are a pain in my ***. But I love them to pieces, and I would absolutely love to have cats in the game in some shape and form. Just not as an enemy, I don't think I could kill one. Uh hu?
