  1. There's a new one. The previous one was temporary it appears. http://obsidianorderofeternity.net/index.php
  2. Great interview, having so much feedback will be very interesting and it's really great for all of us.
  3. Really nice, if you want more inspiration or to follow along with the themes PE so far have, here's a link that was shared in update #14. http://soundcloud.com/obsidian-entertainment/sets/project-eternity/
  4. Holy Roman Empire? On my part, location's written under avatar, so, Canada in North America.
  5. What I liked the most were the streamings. They were fun, relaxed, we had direct feedbacks, we could fool around, get to know the team better, it was done in a convivial atmosphere. Also allowed us to feel more "at home". More concerned, a better immersion, to feel somehow part of the team. Plus, Adam is cool, he was nice and funny, need more Adam. (The fact he likes cats and now has my funny picture has is avatar has nothing to do with that last comment. *Pockets the 100 bucks discretly*) What could have been done better? Maybe one or two more "screenshots", I could have used more sample musics as well and more forum life, but that's nitpicking on my part.
  6. It's what metrosexual used to say, then the emoes, now the marshmallows, we see where the world's going... Somewhere, soft, squeashy and filled with sugar, also best friend of firecamps.
  7. Thanks for the futur upload, it'll be fun to see how he fared. Might actualy make me recreate my old 4 char party (Cleric of Lathander, Fighter, Elf mage, tiefling rogue).
  8. Maybe the cats everywhere meant that soon all of OE employees working on PE will have cats for avatars.... Adam started the bal at least, he's true to his words.
  9. Oh, sorry, was busy watching Goldeneye on BluRay. So many memories (including the hours and hours spent on the game on the N64).
  10. Mine's named Leto, siamese blue point. Second one is Dovakhiin (warrior's name <.< ) alias RĂ©mi, the name the animal shelter gave to him when I got him out of there as a kitten.
  11. Hahaha, Adam, brilliant and the avatar too... Makes me glad I asked that question in the first place!
  12. Your quick rest option sounds like the "Second Wind" of some other games. Something usable once per day/crawl, per character to recover stamina/stun points. The absence of time limit was indeed why so few actualy did not car eif they had to rest for 3 days straight. I used the less rest possible, using spells rather than rest for healing, but still, sometimes you knew you could just go wild against the next encounter and then rest. Adding some sort of timer or maybe an item that's needed to use the rest option. Some sort of soul regeneration stone, a tent, bedrolls, firecamp, something.
  13. Don't let yourselves be fooled by those watery eyes! Someone else tried it and remember what happened after!?
  14. My personnal opinion is: If it's done well and it suits the characters, it's a fun challenge sometimes. Like turning Viconia into a TN character was something interesting in BG2, you really had to be careful of what you did and when you did it. I found some other romances into other games to be too much like a psychanalysis of the other part. No need to have some frail partner or some emotive wreak needing your strong support. Stronger bounds of comraderie that evolve into something more, why not? Like ComradeGoby said, we don't need quotas as well, nor is it a necessity to have something too deep. Plus, I don't like the comments about people seeing this as online dating. Emotional attachment (in a sane and healthy way) with a story, to see it evolve, change and progress is something that just makes it different than a big dungeon crawl (like IWD2 who did a great job at it). I believe that -if- they can put good stories behind it and that it does not delay the rest of the scripts, nor force some kind of remastering of the story to include said romances, why not? You don't like romances and they implemant one? The first time something "romantic" starts, just say the usual last choice sentence: Not interested, lets continue the adventure.
  15. Well, you just had to save and well, you could rest at many places, like, in the middle of the De'Arnise Keep or in the sewers, at only a few meters from a Beholder Ghaut, etc. Nwn just made it sometimes even easier, yeah.
