So your personal god is the concept of an absence of god?

hmm, this man is a genius.
  3. if he was running a mobo that didn't have an AGP slot then NWN2 would pretty much be out of the question anyway. I miss PCI slots.
  4. Yeah, there's little reason for a 'layman' to have more than one graphics card installed. Basically, different cards need different kinds of slot, so you have to find out what your motherboard is, then find out what slots that kind of motherboard has. If it's an older motherboard, expect not to be able to handle the best cards, obviously.
  5. R00FLES! Volo wins again!
  6. Yeah man, it has to have the HEART AND SOUL of a sewer.
  7. Yeah, lets go play World of Warcraft!
  8. Volo likes his sewers, rawr.
  9. Nothing a bit of fire won't fix.
  10. Someone is obviously bitter at having their computer deformatted.
  11. Playing this game, yes, you do need help.
  12. It might be a cultural thing, but while series 1 and 2 were nice intros the series peaked at series 3 and 4, while 5 was pretty good too, in 6 (for memory) they had to get rid of Rimmer as he went off to work on the Britas Empire series, and it was about this time that it really hit american audiances, which resulted in series 7, which pretty much bombed in Britian.
  13. Before it started to suck
  14. We could stand on the grassy knoll and shout 'Duck!'

Character level for stats, job level for abilities. Early on it's probably not worth maxing out any of the jobs, just get most of the useful abilities so you can create a flexable team. The 'best' abilities and statboosts usally arn't worth the insane cost till the latter half of the game.
  16. The only good fantasy is obviously completely generic! Screw actual ingenuity in a setting, I want stuipd orcs and pretty elves and I want them now.
  17. That was my guess too.
  18. Weird, we've had direct connect games go into the modern ages easily without problems like this. Occasionally (hasn't happened since patch) the game will crash, and this seemed to be a multiplayer issue only, but overall it's been very stable. But yeah, with perm alliances, the human players either have to be crippled (high difficalty or one city challange) or all the other teams have to be balanced too.
  19. there are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.
  20. No, not really. Take myself and Llyranor's latest game, 2v2v2v2v2v2 (I think , there might be more 2's), on epic speed. I'm playing the finantial/expansive English (more money, less health problems) while Llyranor is playing the philisophical/creative Germans (more great people, more culture). Off the bat our tactics were for Llyranor to start producing a lot of great people points to get an advantage in production late on into the game with a host of super-specalists and other stuff, but to do that, we needed the parthanon, luckily we started off with marble. Teching to polytheism via mystisism, Lly had to build the Parthanon as fast as posible, which meant only creating a bare-bones of a civ. Hence we had to cooporate VERY closely to assure the wonder was built, and it came very close a few times, with barbarians raiding the city and cutting off our resorces, while also trying to stop our opponents overexpanding on the land we would need later. To this end I even built a settler and gave it to Llyranor so he could build a 'plug city' to stop another nation expanding across land. Then we got another scare when it looked like alexander might build a city between us, cutting off the supply line I had built between our two nations. Trying to balance diplomacy between the other civilizations was a big issue too, and we even got bullied out of some technology at some point because we couldn't afford to go to war. Very cool game. The fact that you're really playing with another human, which means actual strategy, plus the fact that on epic speed, every desision becomes important and long-term.
  21. I agree with this, you're all silly. This is going to be grrrreat. Actual character interactions! Crazy ladies setting their beloved pets on fire for no apparent reason. rawr.
  22. Let's call it, Fallout 5: The Chosen One Must Choose, but with a TWIST! Let's give a second subtitle! Fallout 5: The Chosen One Must Choose: The Brotherhood of FREAKING HERVE CAEN YOU FREAKING MORON: A Post Nuclear 3D FPS Live Action Role Playing Game. And let's give it space sim elements. And you can pilot a big robot! And you can dual rockets launchers! BETTER YET! You can dual-wield robots which are dual-wielding rocket launchers!!!! And combat will be in FPS mode, but with a twist! It'll have fighter game elements too! Like Dungeon Lords, the ultimate combat RPG of 2004. This will be grreat!!
  23. Wait, so we're all agreeing with her? Hooray!
