The plan was this weekend, and i'm going to be away the weekend after, so unless we start with a hand short (either way) we will have to put it off for a few weeks. We can put it up to vote or whatever.

Sure, it did it's job, and i'm not disputing the quality of the games that came from it, but as far as I could see, it was pretty crude, fairly inflexable and somtimes niggly. Very stable though. I didn't actually play any of the IE games till after the release of IWD2 (i.e. when it was already 'dead') so it might just have been its age showing. Correct me if i'm wrong.

and in this case 'Expansions' means 'full priced stand-alone addons'. So basically, rather than pay monthly fee, you buy a new game ever 6-12 months. But in exchange get a buttload of new content/new skills/new classes. You don't HAVE to buy the expansion to keep playing, you just can't use the new stuff. Pretty cool system, too bad that I grew sick of the core game (after about 800 hours). Go go TacO!

and that's really the point, Nintendo is the last 'true' videogame company left (in terms of a company that makes its own games and consoles, and nothing but). While Mircrosoft is a computer Software company and Sony is electronics. For this reason, Nintendo will always have to stay one step ahead, and if it weren't for their utter dominance in the handheld market they would probably have gone the way of Saga by now.

PST had horrible combat, and the inability to cistimise your dudes to any significant level (only, one character with ranged weapons and nothing else lolol) was pretty annoying. It's my favorate example of anything in any medium ever, but only because of the most satisfying story of all time. Anyone who didn't like it was perfectly justified in doing so, they just have different priorities to myself, whch isn't even my way of calling them idiots, as I am sure they would do that for themselves if applicable.
