  1. The scripting nerd in me loved the whole DA tactics game. The gamer in me hated it. If you do decide to include it please give us the option to completely turn it off. I want FULL CONTROL!
  2. +1 on slower level gain. I want my leveling to feel more worthwhile. I remember how long it took to gain skill in Ultima Online when it was new. I want that speed baby!
  3. Im all for limited funds on vendors. I want to throw some stuff away. (On the ground!)
  4. Music is pretty damn important to a games atmosphere. Playing X-Com recently has truly reminded me what a factor it is. That game wouldn't be half as tense or creepy without that music man...really sets the mood. BTW if you haven't played X-Com I'd highly suggest trying to demo on Steam.
  5. If there is one thing I'd love to see in this game its a detailed log of actions. I know playing BG2 I would become extremely frustrated when I couldn't tell what was going on. I had a hard time keeping track of someone being poisoned or injured, caught in an entangle web or whatever...just always seemed like that information was hard to keep track of. That being said, they did have the combat log which would help, but I'd like to see an improved version of it. I want complex battles, but I want to be able to follow the action as well.
  6. I always liked the housing in Ultima Online, extremely customisable, and you could place it anywhere you found room. They added gardening in later which was a fun distraction with a possibility of generating rare resources. Not sure how that would fit into an IE game though, I just wanna be able to place my funiture and stuff.
  7. Unless I misunderstood, which is possible, the wait is only for those that don't get it through pledging.... No, you just get it for free when it's done if you get it as a pledge reward. You still have to wait until it's finished before you get it, unfortunately Obsidian's time machine has been on the fritz for years.
  8. Aggro can be done well, and it can be done poorly. I'd rather see a tactically smart AI where it's appropriate, and stupider ai where it's approriate. IE: Giant Spiders should just be hungry. Attack first target. Groups of Kobolds with a leader should use flanking, and target priority. How to choose that priority is a question beyond my capabilities.
  9. Yeah I'd love to see a bard in this game! Different instruments would be tight. Ultima Online had the coolest bard skills, but it was still very limited. The songs could be treated as spells.
