  1. If you want to make it ironic, Bruce was championing this:http://www.cracked.com/blog/4-ways-gamers-still-suck-at-dealing-with-women/ as good when the only sources are reddit posts, ED entries, and tweets.
  2. How dare you impugn their honor, churl. I'm going to send you envelopes and harass your family over Twitter.
  3. You are now dead to me. DEAD! Nah, I kid. I'm kind of like you on "For The Man Who Has Everything". Both had been hyped to me before I read them; loved WHATEVER HAPPENED TO but wasn't crazy about FOR THE MAN. Well I was supposed to be dead according to a series of articles. I find myself liking stuff that others dislike and vice-versa. I don't like Byrne's FF either, and most other folks seem to hold it in high esteem.
  4. So, when Quinn posts stuff on Twitter about her abuse or Sarkeesian 'quotes' stuff there as well, you're ok with doubting that, correct ? I was told that was a big no no. So, when Quinn posts stuff on Twitter about her abuse or Sarkeesian 'quotes' stuff there as well, you're ok with doubting that, correct ? I was told that was a big no no.That's different Malc, they're SJWs so they would never lie. There is a propaganda war going on from both sides and people like you are falling for it. They use the easily influenced to spread the misinformation, not all information is false but don't think for a second there isn't an orchestrated campaign to align people to either side. Stop being manipulated No I don't believe Twitter comments, I need real links that I can verify. Have you ever known me to post Twitter links So you aren't convinced Quinn in being harassed. Good to know.

  6. I want to read this book. The text is from the introduction to "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" by Alan Moore from SUPERMAN #423 and ACTION COMICS #583 (both September 1986); it was intended to be the "last" of the "classic" Superman stories as DC was rebooting Superman (by John Byrne). It was the last regular issue drawn by legendary Superman artist Curt Swan, had inks by George Perez and included the last Superman work of long time Lois Lane illustrator Kurt Shaffenberger. And its probably one of the best Superman stories ever written (IMO). Collected as a stand alone trade under the WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE MAN OF TOMORROW? name; as a Hardback under the same name but with the addition of the other Alan Moore Superman story, "For the Man Who Has Everything"; and as part of the collection DC UNIVERSE: THE STORIES OF ALAN MOORE that includes Moore's work on other DCU titles (like "Mogo Doesn't Socialize" from Green Lantern) I didn't like it that much, to be honest.
  7. What a bunch of ****. I think staying off Twitter was a good move on my part.
  8. Im not a fan of thin crust (or thick, but its my wifes fav so I lose. ) I like the medium thickness crust like Pizza Hut "pan" pizza. It should work on a hand tossed medium, I just like the crunch from a thin crust. Would reccomend making it at home, but it can be a little difficult.
  9. Are you sure that it did, overall? I, for one, doubt it. Much of the quest XP was given to each character independently of party size, wasn't it? And yet, in my experience, a BG2 party with 3 or 4 members levelled up much faster than a party with 6 members. I've never played BG proper, I've always done the trilogy so perhaps this may be different from someone else's experience. Without factoring in mod added enemies, you gain much more XP per enemy killed in BG2 than BG. The quest XP is a bigger chunk for 6 person parties, but combat will definitely dominate parties of 4 or less. In both games, combat XP will likely be making up the majority of XP. Personally, I like having XP awarded in lump sums for completing objectives because I don't feel like I'm playing the game wrong for trying to find other ways of progressing other than combat. I will concede that it's annoying to scour every corner of a map that holds no remaining interest other than the possibility of a few XP vessels in monster form. I'm not sure how experience division works in PoE, but they could split it among your party to create the same balance of "fewer and higher level" vs. "many and lower level". Each party member in the party cuts into XP by 5% I think. It isn't straight division(before being multiplied by 1.1) like in BG though.
  10. That's cool, options are great. That said, And you'll be progressing mostly in one thing: combat. So..what's the point again? Options.

  12. Compelled by what, themselves, the game, making his PC better? Why would you as a designer care if they feel compelled? Shouldn't someone who spend the time and effort to hunt down dangerous beasts be better at it than someone who doesn't and prefers solving things via diplomacy? I say better here because 99% of the entire game mechanics are about combat. There is almost NOTHING but combat mechanics in the entire game. Everything is new powers related to combat, new talents, better stats, better items...and the only real thing that might come into play for non combat options are attributes, the one thing that are NOT impacted during leveling up! Where are all the diplomatic skills? Contacts networks? Hired agents that might make it interesting and rewarding for non combat interested players? I understand the logic and agree to some extend, but you're missing 50% of the game mechanics for that to actually make sense so that makes the entire thing feel...forced, arbitrary, limiting and in the end frustrating and not at all interesting. Also, doesn't the bestiary system work based on Lore? What's gonna happen if someone has no lore in the party? Do you NEED lore as a combat specialist to just get some xp? how does THAT make any sense whatsoever? http://youtu.be/bmDakhg45rk
  13. Dude, you got weird taste. Then again, my favorite pizza has crisp bacon, cured ham, provolone and mozzerella cheese, black olives, and basil so I probably don't have room to talk. On another note, this pizza talk is making my lunch look bad. That sounds....delicious. It is. On thin crust the bacon is really crisp and the ham adds a lot of flavor, the olives and basil are there primarily for flavor and the provolone adds a nice contrast to the mozzarella. I recommend making it if you have the time and resources.
  14. Have you done the mission for the doctor? It's great. The Lodge mission is kinda tedious, but it felt like they provided more options to do stuff.
  15. Are you getting really long load times on that? I like the changes, but it takes about 20 seconds to load for me.

  17. I'm a bit out of the loop here. Why was there a hate thread for The Cynical Brit? What did Mr. Biscuit do to raise people's ire? He made Phil Fish angry. Which is fairly easy to do.
  18. Actually, it was a place to dump pics of sexy women. There was initially a "hopefully" in the title, because some posters(a fake Russian troll in particular) have weird tastes and spam. Pretty much every regular here has their own thing, from Fighter's fitness girls to sorophx's booty stuff. I find we usually get a good variety here, and I appreciate the chance to see women I normally wouldn't look for. *shrug* Personally I'm fine with Gromnir posting pictures of athletes he finds can do something beautiful. If he admires certain skills more than aesthetics, that is his thing. Hell, if we put up with some mannish looking women, we can deal with swimmers. Anyways, I'm feeling Latinas lately.
  19. I had sex with a Russian girl once, she scratched the **** out of me. Is this fairly common?
  20. I find it funny that Breitbart is more honest than gaming journalists. Interesting times and all that.
  21. The actress I dated wasnt much crazier than the other women I've dated. Of course, most of the women I've dated are either bat**** crazy or evil, so perhaps I'm not a good metric.
