I was going to say Devilman Saga, but that got updated like 3 weeks ago after not being updated since August 2018. Huh.

Online. Physical media is way behind and I tend to get impatient. I wasn't really scared of Vampire Hunter D, I was used to horror movies at that point and I don't think it ever went too out of bonds compared to that. Berserk on the other hand.....the Eclipse is still probably one of the most disturbing events I've seen in fiction. The children's entertainment in my childhood was not good except for memes, like A Cruel Arthur's Thesis. Now a days kids can see stuff like Steven Universe but have to take that with Uncle Grandpa.

I'm trying to read more manga, but sometimes you get really into one and the translations just stop so yeah. At least it's consistent with anime just stopping when they outpace the manga lmao. To be fair, I rented a ton of horror movies and anime from Blockbuster and remeber maybe 10% of them (I believe I may have mentioned one to you that I've been looking for, something about goblins and nuns and an anti-christ pope). The ones that left the biggest impression on me were Vampire Hunter D and Berserk, the latter of which I got out of order and kinda stumbled in on the Eclipse which was absolutely terrifying to 13 year old me. When I was real young and didn't have cable, I would watch DBZ early in the morning and Digimon on Saturdays. I didn't think of them as anime until I was around 12 or 13, come to think of it I didn't really think about movies and TV in terms of genre back then. Weird.

Yeah, I think I already watched the OVA like 15 years ago before Blockbuster disappeared. I remember next to nothing about it lmao.

Violet Evergarden ep 8 + 9. Wow. If the last episode was a kick in the feels, this was the feels getting an asswhooping. I think there were bits shown of this before, but putting them together just hits entirely different.

Regardless of whether they can or not, here in Texas they won't. More likely a person would get the death sentence for having or providing an abortion. At this point though I think it's hilarious, the last time this happened (in response to the Houston mask mandate) it lasted for maybe a month before things got so bad the Governor had to reverse his stance and do a mask mandate. I think that the same thing will happen again, probably with more brazenly authoritarian stuff to get the law n order dip****s on board.

I'd watch it now, it feels just like a slightly longer episode and fits with what happens in episode 5. It stands well enough on its own though so if you don't quite get it where it chronologically occurs it's still a good watch. Joesph and the Empress at the hospital.

Hey, we also talk about Madoka, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and JoJo! Violet Evergarden has been surprisingly good, I think you're right where the first special takes place. It's pretty much a single episode and you won't miss anything by skipping it, but it is good.

If we're lucky, WoTR will be stable by Spetember 2022. I believe Kingmaker is still currently broken near the (near) end game area, where companion confrontations can just stop the game.

Violet Evergarden episode 6. Dolls team up with scribes and there is a comet that comes around every hundred years. Oh and it seems the confrontation in episode 5 didn't have any immediate consequences. Onwards to episode 7.

A bit too short? It's five episodes and ends in the most sequel bait way possible. I liked it but wish they would have finished the season.
