I do frequently get annoyed, like there's a plot thread from season 1 that still hasn't been resolved and there's been entire episodes that could have been dropped without missing much. Oh and I was right, cgi colossal titan looks awful.

JoJo is one of the weirdest shows I have seen (even by anime standards) and also one of the best things I have ever seen. Really the only negatives are the cgi intros in the first two seasons and using the gym god aesthetics instead of drawing from Araki's later work (including exhibitions).

To me it sounds like the commercialization of school sports has been disastrous on multiple fronts, but that genie isn't going back in the bottle.

So AoT s3 halfway, the titans were with us all along and the military gets political. The pacing seemed a little better but it still runs into moments where it drags on too long or sidetracks (arguably the arc itself is a sidetrack), and the big bad is a cgi monstrosity. I hope DIO as a giant monkey ends up being fun, but I think at least one titan is going to be cgi and it's going to suck. I think next up with be logh or violent evergarden. But does it have gym gods, punch ghosts, and hilarious poses?

I actually just started this over the weekend. I'm hoping to get free of Google aside from my Android phone and some work stuff. Anyways it's relatively cool here at around 90f/30c, but it's storming and hurricane season is upon us so it may not be good for long. If I get hit with a hurricane after that freeze I may just leave Texas.

I tricked got you to start watching JoJo, so we're already on that path. While they do get weirder as time goes on, Tower of Grey was one hell of a divergence from Hamon.

I'm completely sincere about Devilman Crybaby, it's a great show that works on so many levels. Hugely recommended it to anyone. What I don't recommended as much is AoT, the 2nd season of which I finished. It's still got severe pacing issues, the characters pick the dumbest times to break down or monolog, and to boot big monkey DIO got barely any screen time. Still I'm keeping with it, it's not like Majestic and SMC because I do enjoy it, the best I can liken it to is fast food. You know it's not the best but sometimes you just want to eat a burger. So long space cowboy.

It's more correct to say that Baldur's Gate was a flagship IP two decades ago. While using Baldurs Gate 3 as the title was an obvious attempt to cash in on nostalgia, I think the big budget is mostly because WotC wanted a big game along with the new TV series to milk the IP. As such they'd probably throw many at anything they thought would be commercially successful, which is unfortunately the Forgotten Realms.

I always found it interesting that there was so much more focus on people wearing masks than on cramped poorly ventilated workplaces people who couldn't work from home got packed into to make the meat grinder go brrrrrr. Oh and since @majestic mentioned it, in AoT DIO's VA plays a moneky titan (though here a monkey does defeat a human lmao). The guy who voices Jotaro voices the scout commander, the edgelord commando is voiced by the same guy who does Rohan, and the main character is voiced by the same guy who voices Koichi but in AoT he actually kill da hoe.

Yeah, if it was edited to be more concise I'd recommend it but you do have to sit through too much anime seriousness to get to the appealing stuff. I'd just stick with Paranoia Agent because that's really good. After that you might want to check out Devilman Crybaby, which is really bizarre and sexual but works due to being well paced and just different.

Jersey being a toxic wasteland isn't that hard to believe though.

S1 of AoT. It was 25 episodes but felt like it could have been 12. There's a lot of stuff that feels way too stretched out but something about it kept me going. I don't think @Bartimaeus would like it, but @majestic may enjoy it. Though none of the Titans can compare to STANDO POWAH!
