There is a LED in his cigar. That was a pain. Not as much a pain as that lightsabre, but still a pain. At least it works well though. Unlike the lighsabre which only really lights properly in complete darkness.

I tried playing Dreadfire. It gave me the option of importing a savegame (not going to happen as I'd have to suffer through PoE1 (where I am probably near the end - I have to decide which god's help to accept before jumping in a hole?)). It said I could also create a custom world state through the Options menu. At that point there was no way of getting to that menu without finishing character creation. I felt this was extremely irritating: being forced to Alt-F4 because you want to choose an option the game informs you that you have for that specific choice. Devs should be forced to play their own games. There probably is a circle in hell where exactly that happens.

Is there anything in the gene-seed pseudo science though that would prevent it? Other than the Emperor being the Emperor? I mean Space Marines and Primarchs were supposed to be intelligent. And if you read any Horus Heresy fiction, intelligent is not a word you should use when describing any of those characters.

The good thing is that once people see you actually follow through with a few conversions they thought silly, they start showing that grudging hobby respect because silly as they may have thought it would be, you did pull it off (though I have yet to make teddy bear marines)

Yeah, a number of friendly local game stores weren't sure if they should remove the "friendly" from their description when they saw that Though I also had one person for years try to convince me to convert an army based on that.

My account is adamant I always pay these on time - which is a bit silly because I always pay everything on time - because while with normal wages, if I were to not pay and get sued, I would be able to claim that I am forced to delay payment and have every intention to pay. The holiday bonus can't be delayed as that is seen as flagrante delicto. The result of that is that unscrupulous employers will pay bonuses, then have their staff pay it back in cash.

Currently they are offering that for the one month everything is shut. I don't know if they are going to extend it or come up with a new formula if we need to stay closed longer. The good thing is they are also giving that as a salary to my cleaning lady. So I don't have her salary to worry about - just her Easter bonus, which I am still required to pay. But seeing how it will take a while for people to go traveling again, if I miss out on most of the summer revenue even if we are allowed to open again - eh. On the other hand it may mean that all the new places that opened up without a business plan, and all the people renting out under the table over AirBnB may shut their places first, clearing the market share again for those of us who try to do things the right way.
