  1. Yeah, it is a rough battle for Adventurer Dorori. People Unequip Anne's masteries to succeed that one 😛 I did Irene as well, but story-wise Heixing and Albus are more important. Heixing because it shows his relationship with Kylie. Albus because it introduces a new character. Mastery-wise only Irene matters afaik she is the only one who gets a unique mastery from the encounter. I hadn't expected Ray's scent of the past to be such a long story chunk. Especially not after Heixing's was such a short easy mission. I have recruited Adventurer Dorori. He has a unique personal mastery "I love Anne".
  2. The Cybertronic Spree did a Heart - Barracuda cover. Arcee really has the vocal modulator for this.
  3. I don't think I have ever seen a release get so many promo videos.
  4. The first one was okay as an intro to the setting. Similar to how the XCOM2 or Deus Ex novels were okay. The second one was less than okay. There are two problems with the first novel: a) it tries to name drop too much stuff. "Ooh! The characters talked to some dalish elves." It doesn't lead to anything, but the word got checked off the list. David Gaider must have been under a lot of pressure on that one to get everything marketing wanted him to into whatever word limit he had. b) Shale appears in the novel and Loghain knows the golem, but as they made it day 1 DLC, in the game there is no dialogue to acknowledge this. It highlights a possible issue in project management at Bioware. Writers' work is just cut and thrown into the end product without too much care for the continuity the writers may very well have envisioned.
  5. The only thing anyone *must* do is gather their party before venturing forth.
  6. Ironically without actual gameplay. With more gameplay info, a trailer without gameplay in the title:
  7. Yeah, I played quite a bit of Hunter. Made a character for Demon but that is as far as I got with that. Never got into Werewolf. I think it is the setting that most suffered from players and storytellers who didn't understand the point of WOD (obviously, whatever makes you have fun) and simply got turned into a lulz I can beat up anything.
  8. I have played various WoD settings and games. I have a Brujha deck for the card game somewhere around here as well. More of a Changeling fan though than Vampire.
  9. Had a fairly good Beast Taming run (in Troubleshooter) last night instead of sleeping. Didn't get the gold beasts I was aiming for, but a good number of epic and legendary bosses.
  10. Evolved into an apex predator
  11. I think I'd end up foiling my own plot, being too annoyed at heroic incompetence.
  12. Yeah, the reviews are not good.
  13. You still have some time before the expansion for X4.
  14. Can't yet as I can't click on evolution until I reach lvl 45.
  15. Fixed that for you
  16. @Oner is now Sir Oner
  17. Next update for Troubleshooter apparently coming out in two weeks. At least that is what I think this means: "Accordingly, the development team wants to update the next update schedule on March 12th."
  18. He needs 2 more levels and I have been killing destrons instead (I use White Cloud on rough missions).
  19. I can see where people could say Obsidian would be a good fit. With FONV they have proven they can work within the constraints of another developer's buggy mess. Of course they also showed that none of that mess will be cleared up, simply worked with.
  20. Yet for our sins, they made Majesty 2.
  21. Active as most Obsidian devs are here in this forum, wouldn't we have suspected something if they were working on Vampire?
  22. They added multiple floors to the secret lair but took out the mid-campaign island change. They say it wasn't fun to have to abandon your base and build a new one from scrap. They aren't wrong. Though the island change did allow for a fresh start knowing what one had done wrong with the first base. They also mentioned a sandbox mode, without story progression. A lot of changes sound good though. More importantly, unlike those terrible Dungeons 1-3 and the Startopia knock off, the Evil Genius 2 devs seem to know the original game and be making an actual sequel, not just nick the name to get customers, then get offended when the interested players ask how similar the game will be to the namesake.
  23. @Oner has hatched! We'll have to work on his build, but this should let him breath lightening on the odd villain
