Doing some light traveling:

Nice. I got him with the Lightning Negoori set as well. Though I haven't given his build too much thought. Just tried to complete mastery sets. Will need to have another look. Before that I want to get a viable Alisa Lunacy build though.

What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life

I had forgotten about the violent case the freeLC for Troubleshooter added. So met the new new enemies and ouch. So it added more stuff than I thought. Waiting for the big update which will complete it and up the content to 8 + 2 missions from the current 3 + 1. AAA titles would probably have split it into a 5 part season pass and charged $20 for it. -

That's definitely how Ryo views Jason as well. At the same time Jason is the only Angry Bull higher up who sticks with the gang to the end. Even though he is way in over his head. So you are in Chapter 4. Remember to tell me your choice in Scent of the Past. In "Intruders" when you have to find Kylie and escort her to the broken fences, who did you find her with? It seems canon is to find her in Heixing's activation. -

The thing is, I feel sorry for Scott and Jason. I like Sharky and John the Immortal. OK, I kinda like most Spoonists. And even the White Tiger gang bastards you can understand. Maybe not Andrei - I can't remember anything about him. I mean Berke isn't even a bad guy - by White Tiger gang standards. edit: The other thing I found well done was the flashbacks fleshing out information later on. When Joel dies, you don't care all that much. But when you later get his story you actually care retroactively, if that makes sense? -
So basically you unplug a room when you are not using it and plug in the room you are using?

Angry Tiger is seen by some as the hardest mission in the game. Even with the help (though some people don't go asking for help and just rush in solo). I have never gone back to checkpoint. The few times I failed (and Angry Tiger was one of them) I always hit restart. I like the mission as it definitely gets you emotionally involved with fighting the White Tiger gang. And that character is the best addition to the team. In a target rich environment he really shines. -

Free DLC in Troubleshooter turned out to be: 2 recruitable characters. 3 Missions (including a new map) 1 New enemy faction with 3 new enemies (2 models) + bosses. New masteries (skill sets) for and dropped by the new enemies. Which kinda is still more than some AAA titles include for a DLC in their season pass... -
Season 2, yes. Chapters 1-6 are season 1. Seems I am playing chapter 7 now which is an interlude, side story thing. White Lion and Black Witch dlc.

145 Hours, I have finished Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children. As the first DLC is already out, the ending credits merged into the opening credits of Troubleshooter: Banished Children. I think I'll start that tomorrow though. -
@Vaeliorin You thought exceeding 300 Action Time is cool? Look at this: Also, finished Abandoned Children... On to Banished Children!

1 of those Legendary crafting materials I had bought materials to craft myself had cost me around 16K + some materials I already owned. Went on a mission now. Looted 26 of those Legendary crafting materials... -

Got the Steam Achievement in Troubleshooter that I didn't want to get. Failed to rescue a civilian. Totally avoidable. Was doing a mission on challenge mode and didn't know the villain I shot had gotten the random trait to enter frenzy and attack the closest living thing on taking damage. So a civilian got a katana to the face -

Played a mission in Troubleshooter that went very bad very soon. 12 bosses to defeat. After each the option to retreat. Lost 4 of 8 SWAT support and 3 out of 8 of my characters (+ my beastmaster's pet) before I took out the first boss. Retreated when the boss suiciderushed someone with high melee damage and counter attack. Game gave me an EXCELLENT mission ranking. They keep using that word. I don't think it means what they think it means. -

I had about 145K in cash in Troubleshooter when I decided it was time to upgrade Albus' equipment. So I now have around 85K in cash (having accidentally crafted the same Jacket twice... ) So after crafting an equipment set which cost me about 10K in materials per item, I decided to bask in its awesomeness. Then I noticed it gives no bonus whatsoever to Speed. Doh. Guess I need to change my masteries. -
Well, Vaeliorin really liked it. Which makes me happy, because one of my insecurities is getting excited about a game and infecting people who then don't like the game

Once you overlevel a mission, remember to do them in challenge mode. My biggest problem with that one was Hassan on his balcony one-shotting people trying to charge him when I did the mission at low level. Scent is halfway through chapter 4. -

@Vaeliorin If you have or when you get to Scent of the Past, I'd be interested in what choice you went with. -

I didn't want to warn you about Ryo. Didn't want to spoil the surprise. For me only Anne made it out of that confrontation because he spotted me before I spotted him. I went back through the Case File time travel and Irene made short work of him. Fire gets a revive mastery - Phoenix, which comes with its own mastery set. And one of Irene's unique masteries gives her "Hero" on revive. So in some tough battles you don't mind her taking all the damage, reviving and ending the fight with the fury of a red panda. "Justice Win!" The tricky thing with mastery sets is that it may even be one that the character can only use with their other class. -

There is also Learning which increases xp gain by 30%. I am not sure when you get that. Have you got the case files in the office unlocked that allow you to replay story missions? It is the way to get rewards from different choices. Albus spending the evening reviewing notes and pondering what if. Edit: and that is a martial artist Irene. I switched back after maxing Battle Mage, to get the mastery slots I wanted. -

There is a support mastery called Yearning. You should have that. Put it on Anne to increase her XP gain from when others gain XP. For Irene giving her a lot of fire related masteries works. Here is mine (though lvl 47) : I have never gotten my action time over 300 yet... -

No, we are talking about the same thing. After A Spreading Magenta, when I saw Magenta Backstreets unlocking as a Violent Case I went "Oh, that explains why that mission was so rough." I have Albus as the counterattacking person with forestallment. I have Irene as a fast, hard hitting dodging person. And I made her melee attacks push, so she can run up to enemies and stun them (if you push and the target can't be pushed, they get stunned). The problem with Counterattack is that it delays action time, so whoever you have counterattack specced may not get to do any actions if they are in the thick of it. I found Lightening Timas to be the scariest Timas. Especially in maps with water. Anything with electricity attacks becomes terrifying in water. Most of all Lightening Boy Scion. You have either played quite a bit already or are progressing faster through the story. I got Irene at around 10 hours into the game if I remember. Someone on Steam was complaining that it took him 30 hours to get her. I have no clue what they did for those extra 20 hours. I do like the build up to getting her into the team. She isn't a stranger by the time she joins. I expect you have figured out who number 4 is?
