  1. So sayeth the wise Alaundo.
  2. Yeah, if you own it you own it. If not, due to music rights you can't get it anymore Damn Brayko listening to Autograph.
  3. I feel no ill will for projects where I know people honestly tried but failed. And if they have been persevering for years and are still trying to do right by their backers, I admire them. The Mandate seemed pretty clearly to have been a scam. And non-gaming kickstarter wise I was a Grimrock webseries backer, where the creator basically then sold the project and decided it wasn't his fault it failed, since by that time he had abandoned it.
  4. Psychonauts is Double Fine? They already abandoned that space station simulation. So they do have baggage of not following through on a project. I'm unfairly biased towards Forsaken Castle as the name is too similar to Forsaken Fortress 🤐 Then again I backed: The Mandate - proper scam Dwarven Delve - Devs said they ran out of money and have slowly been working on it while having returned to proper day jobs. We'll see if we will truly get it this year (instead of February 2014). Unwritten: That Which Happened - Dev said he had a health family emergency and used the money for that instead, if I remember correctly. Haunts: The Manse Macabre - Programmers left. New programmers joined and couldn't understand what the hell the old programmers had done. Game died because they couldn't get it to work. Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil - Dev lost his team, tried to find a new team. New team left... was due August 2013. February 2019 the creator gave backers a link to the dropbox with the beta version of the game they had managed to get to. Basically a project by a person who had been doing little flash games for fun and thought he'd try to do a "proper" game with help of a small team and Kickstarter. It didn't work out, but it does seem that he gave it his all.
  5. Woke up, saw the unfinished sketch lying around. Decided to work on it over breakfast. Lost track of time and forgot to run most of my errands for the day. Got in in the evening, touched up the sketch. Started work on the next one while pondering dinner. Lost track of time and forgot to have dinner...
  6. You shouldn't beat dwarves in general. Dwarf battering is not a practice tolerated by obsidianites.
  7. On to the next one! Updated list for us to vote on: Pathfinder Kingmaker DONE! Baldur's Gate 2 - only finished SoA and want again Octopath Traveler - too much grind The Witcher 3 - recently reached Bloody Baron and tons of quests and feel like I'm jumping in too soon Drakensang the Dark Eye - run in windowed mode, but like to play charlatan Divinity OS 2 - same as witcher, recently almost finished the game and gave up
  8. I think my favourite Obsidian game will always be Alpha Protocol. Great writing, great characters and the one game where I felt Obsidian were doing completely their own thing. Kotor II, FONV, Mask of the Betrayer, they all were standing one another's work. Pillars was its own thing, but a homage to what had come before. Outer Worlds too often reminds of FO or ME or even Borderlands. But AP is just AP.
  9. It's the third one in the past few months? They all have a username comprised of a first and last name. The first one I noticed was jamesbower, mostly as I have a friend by that name. It's that weird way they make bots wrong by trying to make them right "But I gave it a first and last name! How could they tell the account wasn't real?"
  10. I like the new GOG launcher, as I have it linked to all the other launchers, so I have my library in one place and can launch everything from there (true, it then launches the other launchers, but I don't have to do it manually).
  11. Finally someone else points out these one post wonders
  12. You never told us, so I can't dig up the info for you Mine at some point last year (hah! It's next year now!) Autumn I think.
  13. Happy New Year!
  14. Colour coded choices terrible?
  15. The people have the right to know the truth, Deb.
  16. It was the best thing about the Beth ones. Though not redeeming enough for me to play FO4. Just as radio was what made Vice City so great.
  17. Outer Worlds has a Fallout feel to it. So Fallouty in fact, I already had two corpses disappear - probably drop through the geometry and out of the game world. I miss the radio.
  18. I may have to grab that then alongside a no attack mod so I can completely ignore them.
  19. I haven't found the proper mod it seems. And I keep reading that the game world is empty without them?
  20. I am looking at Outer Worlds in the Winter sale, as with the 10 off voucher on Epic, that would be a reasonable price.
  21. I keep wanting to pick up my Fallout 4 playthrough, But I always remember the settlements and how tedious I find that kinds of gameplay so I don't even launch the game. I just wanted to explore the wasteland again, not have to build things
  22. I knew you had it in you, champ!
  23. Should have made it a Roguelike Point & Click Adventure game. With procedural generated interactive points for QTE pixel hunting.
