It's pretty amazing what CDPR managed to squeeze out of the Aurora Engine.

Uchiyama say "Red Sox have hole(s) in their swing". I was surprised that Sanchez lasted 6 innings, I didn't think he would make it thru the 5th. They got aggressive later in the game and gave him a couple easy 10 pitch type innings. Sawx couldn't hit anyone except Benoit last night. That guy is super shaky as a closer, but he did get the job done.

Man, Tigers pitching was just ridiculous in game 1. Buchholz is going to have to be spectacular to beat Scherzer and keep Boston from going down 0-2.

I wouldn't serve that to my worst enemy. I don't understand how people eat Wonder "Bread". It's not bread, it's some kind of sponge with a painted on "crust".

Or Jessica's utterly ridiculous 1 legged wetsuit. She's my go to in Raid Mode because I like rifles and she's the rifle master.

No score after the 1st. Sanchez had 4 strikeouts in the 1st inning, yes 4. The good news for the Sawx is that Sanchez threw 26 pitches in the first inning. They need to get him out of the game and get to that soft bullpen. Edit: Through 2 innings it's a case of good news and bad news for the Sawx tonight. Bad News: They don't have a hit off Sanchez and have only managed to make contact a few times. Good News: Sanchez has thrown 51 pitches through 2 innings (compared to Lester's 33). It's unlikely Sanchez lasts more than 6 innings (if he even lasts that long). The Sawx will get a crack at the Tigers bullpen.

Time to get the beer ready for game 1 of the ALCS. Don't fail me Lester.

I haven't done Raid Mode on the PC version yet, I've only done Raid Mode on the 3DS, and that was via wifi. You're obviously not doing split screen on the 3DS. Raid Mode on the 3DS is basically just speed running levels either solo or co-op. It's simple, but insanely fun and addictive. The PC version adds playable Hunk and Rachel, which is sweet, though I've obviously yet to try those 2 out.

No. It's a throw back to the series roots, it's a lot more like Resi 1 & 2. Slow pacing, claustrophobic spaces, mounting tension, just without the horrific camera and controls of the old Resi games.

There be some evil residents that be revealing themselves to me

Started up a game of Resident Evil Revelations. I already knew it was a great game, I have it on 3DS also, and it's my favorite 3DS game and favorite Resi game, my only concern was how would the controls translate to the PC. So far so good. The controls feel responsive and intuitive. They did a good job, for the most part, upscaling the models and textures from a 400X200 pixel screen to HD sizes, though there are occasions where there will be a horribly low res looking texture really clashing with the nice HD models and textures around it. So far this mostly seems to happen in cutscenes. Anyway, I'll mostly give this a rest for now, I just wanted to see how the game controlled. Gonna jump back into Risen 2 and finish that up before I dive headlong into Resi Revelations.

Ironically, it's a game that was almost immediately forgotten about after it came out. I haven't played it, but I remember the reviews were decidedly lukewarm on it. I think the consensus was great backdrop, mediocre gameplay.

I see no Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3. My bad.

I imagine it leads to a jailed/death screen in some sort of Sierra-esque amusing fashion. The famous Sierra deaths were definitely divisive, but I, for one, enjoyed them immensely.

I know some people are going to be critical of it, but I think it looks absolutely charming. I'm excited, this is the only kickstarter other than PE that I pledged a good chunk of change to. Yeah, the graphics aren't exactly bleeding edge, but I never expected them to be. All I want out of this game is for it to have the humor and charm of QfG. QfG was such an amazing series. I got hundreds of hours of just plain fun with those games.

I didn't get to see it finish. I stayed up until the 12th, then tiredness took over. Had it been a Sawx game, I would have kept myself awake to see it to the end. I'd be quite happy to see the Dodgers and Cards go extra innings in every single game of the series, plus go 7. Tire yourselves out fellas.
