  1. I'm getting an SCP (IN SPACE) vibe from these videos. I like it. Same here. Except you have to say it like this: "SCP, IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE!". I'm looking forward to seeing more of there viral teasers.
  2. Where do you get tablet game from? I didn't read anything about tablet (or any platform, for that matter) from that short release.
  3. The As are up 3-0 on the Tigers in the 4th. I'm at work, so the best I can do is check the score once in a while. Later today it's Buchholz vs. Cobb. Buchholz has been terrific at The Trop over his career, hopefully that continues tonight.
  4. Keyrock replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
How is it? The trailer looked dreadful.
  5. Risen 2 - I'm eager to get off Tacarigua so I can meet the natives and get my voodoo on, but I still have a few things left to do before Steelbeard will let me join the crew, namely I need to get sugar for Booze. So far I've been putting all my points in Cunning and Toughness, so I'm still a wimp with a sword, but termites (which I need to dispatch to get the sugar) are easy enough enemies, even with my lack of skill.
  6. And yet, since 2010 he has an above .500 record as a starter and more playoff victories than Peyton Manning. Just sayin'...
  7. Tim Tebow is still available...
  8. Yeah, at least he's going into a situation that isn't a COMPLETE disaster, and has Purple Jesus to work with.
  9. More weirdness from SOMA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eytOzwyfiCA Color me interested.
  10. Good move for the Vikings, I still think Freeman can be decent. I'm really shocked the Browns didn't scoop him up. I'm thinking the Texans may be wishing he was still out there too. Schaub looks like he's beyond salvaging at this point. Jags need a QB desperately too, as Gabbert is horrendous, but they're obviously tanking for Teddy Bridgewater.
  11. Shovelware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo-uuawy9Ok#t=17 Can you dig it?
  12. I should be throwing things against the wall, but I'm completely calm. I'm so used to this from Romo and the Cowboys that I'm completely desensitized to it. Really, it was the only way that game was ever going to end. It was the only way it could end. The worst part will be when the Cowboys finish 7-9 at the end of the season, miss the playoffs on a tie-breaker, and Jason Garrett somehow keeps his job.
  13. Seahawks are vulnerable on the road. Plus, it seems the Colts are pretty dang good.
  14. Without heavy modding, Morrowind has aged terribly. Even with heavy modding, there's no way (that I know of) to get rid of those horrific animations. I still love that game, though.
  15. That's not a bad list. Critiques: * Deus Ex should be much higher * Where the **** is Gothic 2? * Where the **** is Ultima 7? * Where the **** is Betreyal at Krondor? * As much as I like Shadowrun Returns, it has no business being on that list * As much as I like Anachronox, it has no business being on that list * If I was going to include a loot em' up on my list (which I probably wouldn't), I would have gone with Titan Quest over Torchlight 2 (and yes, over Diablo 2) * I LOVE The Witcher 2, and CDPR in general, but even I wouldn't put it ahead of Baldur's Gate 2
  16. 9:1? 9:1!? That's not just absurd or ridiculous, that's straight to plaid! Lol. Let's not get too hasty now. Not quite like it's completely unprecedented. Exhibit A: Dennis Eckersley 1988-1992, esp. 1990 season. ****, if you're comparing Uehara to Eckersley, I'm down with that. Eckersley was a fairly good starter. His closer seasons in Oakland are some of the best seasons a pitcher has ever recorded.
  17. 9:1? 9:1!? That's not just absurd or ridiculous, that's straight to plaid!
  18. And here's what really stings ... not only did Texas lose him in free agency, but we traded Chris Davis to get him in the first place! If that just doesn't suck balls ....... Which is why every year around trade deadline, I keep chanting .. "Jon Daniels ... step away from the farm system" Does the douchebag listen? NOOOOOOOO. ****, that's brutal. I'm sorry, man. That's a lie, I'm not totally sorry. I'm sorry about Chris Davis, I'm not sorry about Koji Uehara. Koji "Game Over" Uehara.
  19. LOL Whodathunk it!? Koji mutha****ing Uehara would become the most dominant closer in the major leagues. I dub him "The Automaton" because he's so automatic.
  20. Lackey starts to struggle a bit and John Farrell, not ****ing around, brought Craig Breslow, super set -up man, to shut the inning the **** down. Shut the inning the **** down he did. I'm thinking, Doubront for the 7th and 8th, then Uehara to finish it off. Tazawa shut the 8th down. Now it's down to Uehara to do his job and close this out. Uehara has been pretty much automatic this year, so I'm pretty confident. Price is still out there in the bottom of the 8th, despite being down 6-4. Is this really a good idea, Joe Maddon? You may need him for game 5. Edit: And Papi gores yard off Price around the Peski Pole to add salt to the wound. Joe Maddon has to pull Price now, probably too late, since the game is almost definitely lost. Edit 2: Finally Price is out of the game. Too late now as the game is probably lost. I understand Joe Maddon's thinking, as he had to deplete his bullpen yesterday. Now not only is this game almost certainly lost, David Price will be a shell of himself if this goes to game 5. Now the Rays need to hope that they can get it to game 5. In game 3 they will face Buchholz, who was, arguably, the best pitcher in baseball before his injury. Then Peavey in game 4. If they somehow survive that, they get the pleasure of a rested Jon Lester in Game 5 against a heavily worn down David Price. Suck it down.
  21. By the way. For anyone wondering where the Laser Show nickname came from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPvMOVFshyI Also, Papi is indeed fine. Just fine. Greatest designated hitter of all time fine. I'm still not sure he'll make the Hall of Fame, but he is the best player EVER at his position, granted it's a non-fielding position.
  22. Lackey has a rough inning, giving up 2, but limits the damage by being careful with Longoria, then working and freezing Zobrist for an inning ending K. 5-3 Sawx. I need more liguor. /heads to liquor cabinet Edit: that's good, Price. Keep throwing to 1st while Laser Show is at bat. You just go aheads and forget about Laser Show. Edit 2: And that's what happens when you pay too much attention to the guy on 1st. Laser mutha****ing Show blasts a ribbie double off the Monster. He's a former MVP for a reason. When Laser Show is at-bat you mutha***ing better concentrate on Laser Show, forget who's on base.
  23. Stephen mutha****ing Drew with the ribbie triple off the monster after a pro-****ing-fessional at-bat. They make the Rays pay for a fielding mistake yet again. 5-1 Sawx. Game is getting out of hand for the Rays The series is getting out of hand for the Rays. In case you're wondering, yes, I'm a couple beers deep right now.
